So this may be the last appearance of Loki according to Hiddleston. Sort of thought he might be worked into Infinity War in some way. Of course none of this is set in stone yet.

Hiddleston Says "Thor: Ragnarok" May Be Loki's "Last Time Out Of The Gate"
As "Thor: Ragnarok" prepares for a summer production in Australia, actor Tom Hiddleston is also preparing for what could be his last turn as the fan favorite villain Loki. Hiddleston spoke about the upcoming "Thor" sequel in an interview with the Daily Beast, where he seemed to definitively state that "Ragnarok" will be Loki's final appearance.
“'Thor 3' will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years,” said Hiddleston. “I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate.”
The Daily Beast asked for a clarification, asking if Hiddleston's Loki will appear in the massive two-part "Avengers: Infinity War." “I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,” said Hiddleston, shrugging. “They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”
So while it sounds like it's possible Loki could show up in "Infinity War," Hiddleston seems to be regarding "Ragnarok" as his last opportunity to play the character. Hiddleston debuted as Loki in 2011's "Thor" and followed that up with the lead villain role in 2012's "Marvel's the Avengers" and a third appearance in 2013's "Thor: The Dark World." That film ended with Loki in a new status quo, having secretly replaced Odin on Asgard's throne.
Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett and more, "Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to open on November 3, 2017.

I'm sure they'll add him into Infinity War if they can. He's probably second only to Tony Stark as a fan favorite character in the MCU.

Isn't Hiddleston under contract for six movies like just about everyone else?
Thor, Avengers, Dark World, Ragnarok. Four movies. I would think he would be under contract fir two more.

It's possible villain actors don't get as long a contract, since they're less likely to appear as often as the hero actors.

Depending... Death has also been a somewhat sexy entity at times. I think it has to do with who encounters her. For Deadpool. She's sexually infused body. For Thanos...she's very reserved and elegant, W/ the skull face or not. For others. She's a serious bitch to be somewhat respected and feared.
I really liked how the Deadpool game made her look. Mexican sugar skull design.

Actually isn't it rumored that she is going to play Hela? (Which is basically the Norse version of Death). Maybe in the Infinity War movies we would discover that Hela and Death are the same character.

After breaking out in last year’s “Creed,” actress Tessa Thompson is eyeing a jump to the Marvel universe as the thesp has joined “Thor: Ragnarok.”
Chris Hemsworth is back as the Norse God in the superhero sequel, which co-stars his “Avengers” counterpart Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk). Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett is also in talks to play an unknown role.
Taika Waiti in on board to direct “Ragnarok” with Stephany Folsom recently polished the script.
Kevin Feige will produce the film, which hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
Most recently featured as the female lead in the box-office success “Creed,” and prior to that was a supporting cast member in “Selma,” as her breakout role was the star of the indie feature film darling “Dear White People.”
Currently, Thompson is filming a female lead role in the HBO Drama Series “Westworld” and has also been cast in a female lead role opposite Natalie Portman in “Annihilation” for director Alex Garland, produced by Scott Rudin. Thompson also has a strong supporting role in the feature film in the John Michael McDonagh directed film “War on Everyone,” which premiered at SXSW.
She is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency and Mosaic.

Details for Thompson’s part have not been revealed, but she could be the female lead as Natalie Portman, who was the female lead as Dr. Jane Foster in the previous two Thor installments, is not returning.

No Jane Foster in this? Good. Character sucked anyway. Seriously... the Thor films are the worst for those 3 heroes w/ their own little franchise.

Wasn't a fan of either, though I did enjoy the stuff on Asgard in the first movie. The other half on Earth OTOH...

Two-time Oscar®-winner Cate Blanchett (“Blue Jasmine,” “Carol, “Cinderella”) joins Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok” as the mysterious and powerful new villain Hela, along with Jeff Goldblum (the upcoming “Independence Day: Resurgence,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Jurassic Park”) who joins the cast as the eccentric Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson (“Creed,” “Selma”) who will bring the classic hero Valkyrie to life on the big screen, and Karl Urban (“Star Trek” trilogy, “The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King”) who will add his might to the fray as Skurge.
Rounding out the cast for the film is three-time Oscar®-nominee Mark Ruffalo (“Spotlight,” “The Kids Are All Right,” “Foxcatcher”), reprising his role of Bruce Banner/the Hulk from “Marvel’s The Avengers” and Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
“The continuation of the epic Thor franchise will be powerful and unique, and with the additions of Cate, Jeff, Tessa, Karl, and Mark to the cast we have the makings of his most dangerous and heroic adventure yet,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “The sheer, raw talent each of these actors brings to the screen can’t be quantified. Having any one of them join the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an honor, and having all of them is incredible."
Thor’s new cast members join returning stars Chris Hemsworth (“Rush,” “In the Heart of the Sea,” “Ghostbusters”) in the title role for the fifth time; Tom Hiddleston (“Crimson Peak,” “The Night Manager,” “Kong: Skull Island”) as Thor’s adversarial, adopted brother, Loki; Golden Globe® and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Idris Elba (“The Dark Tower,” “Luther,” “Beasts of No Nation”) as the Asgardian sentry, Heimdall; and Academy Award®-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins (“Silence of the Lambs,” “Nixon,” “Hitchcock”) again portraying Odin, Ruler of Asgard.
“Thor: Ragnarok,” the third installment of Marvel’s popular Norse Super Hero, is directed by Oscar®-nominated filmmaker Taika Waititi (“Two Cars, One Night,” “What We Do in the Shadows,” “Hunt for the Wilderpeople”). Kevin Feige will produce the film, joined by executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee.

I wonder if Jane Foster is permanently out of the MCU... I mean, Dark World ended with Thor giving up the throne for her. It would be lame if they just casually mention how they broke up offscreen. If Portman was throwing a wrench in the works (it was rumored she wanted to quit the sequel after Patty Jenkins left), it would have been very easy to just kill her character off in the last one. Sif makes for a better love interest anyway.

Since Jaimie Alexander is currently on Blindspot on NBC, it probably means she's done with the Sif character. She's not even listed on the cast for this sequel.

Glad that Hopkins is coming back. He was sketchy about doing another one.
I hope that Portman at least films a small cameo to explain away Jane's character.
