Last survivor of Hollywood's Golden Age :rip:

That leaves 3 survivors from the AFI 50 Greatest American Screen Legends :
Men:
17 : Kirk Douglas

This week can really just go suck it.

Bacall in her prime blew away pretty much every supermodel of today's screen. So great.

http://www.afi.com/100years/stars.aspx

These were supposed to be actors who debuted prior to 1950.

Legends Marlon Brando, Sidney Poitier and Sophia Loren all had screen debuts in the cut-off year of 1950. Stars whose screen debuts occurred just after 1950, and therefore did not qualify as legends, include Jack Lemmon, Paul Newman, Shirley MacLaine and Clint Eastwood.

There was supposed to be another list of actors who debuted after 1950 , but best as I can tell that list never got made.

Olivia de Havilland, Maureen O'Hara & Eva Marie Saint all in their 90's, not on that list, but are still around.

She was the third. First Garner, then Williams and now Bacall.:(

Garner was almost a month ago. Don't think that would count.

Rhonda Fleming, too. She turned 91 on Sunday and I sent her a Happy Birthday email.

Bacall and James Garner were in two films together, HEALTH (1980), directed by Robert Altman, and THE FAN (1981). She also guest-starred on "The Rockford Files."
