I liked the first one a lot - and this is from a long time Turtles fan from the B&W comic days.

This looks like more of the same, so I'm in. Just looks like a fun flick, and there's nothing wrong with that.

The trailer actually looked fun, and I can't believe it's taken this many movies to finally have Bebop and Rocksteady in one. Looks a lot better then the piece of shit first movie, which is easily one of the worst movies I've seen in theaters.

Why So Blu?

That looks awful. I've yet to see the first one, too. Fox looks as fuckable as ever, though.

The first one had a ridiculous plot and some pointless character/background changes, but the effects for the turtles were really, really good. I went in with super low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

This one looks pretty fun. I'll see it, if only for bebop and rocksteady.

Yep, totally agree. The first was wretched. As a formerly huge TMNT fan it was a massive letdown. This looks better, so I might watch it, but I expect very little.

Am I assuming that the anomaly from the sky is setting up Krang? And why make Baxter look like Klump? And not digging that they're keeping Amell's look unchanged from Arrow.

Since the set pics have already shown up here I kind wish Casey Jones had long hair. But looks like there could be great potential with Bebop and Rocksteady, Dimension X, Baxter Stockman, Shredder and Casey Jones all in the same movie.

Surprised that people don't like the trailer more. I really dislike the 2014 film but I think this looks considerably better. It seems fun I just hope that the story is there as it was basically non-existent in the first film. I still don't like the way the Turtles look but I do like the additions of Casey Jones, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Not a fan of Baxter Stockman from what's seen though. I'm willing to give this a chance more than I expected to be though given the bad taste the first one left in my mouth.

I thought that Bebop & Rocksteady looked great. Bringing them from the 80's cartoons to a live action movie, I don't see how they could do much better.

My kids love the first movie. I've only seen the full thing once, but have seen bits and pieces since. Some chunks are still dumb as shit, but some grow on you the more you see them. I really hope this one is better.

Even though the plot was paper thin the first movie had the Splinter Shredder fight, and that pretty much topped any fight that came from the original movies.

Bebop and Rocksteady look like they were taken out of a Kung Fu Panda movie and just dropped into a live action one. Like two cartoon characters inserted into a live action movie....wait a minute.

I know it's early but even still.... I'm not impressed w/ the digital effects that are the Turtles and such based off of what we got last time.

They just... don't look good in design and texture. Bebop and Rocksteady look like their designs, still too early to say wtf they'll look like as an end design but again.. based off the last one.. they're not really caring about creating these CG skinned things look like they belong w/ the practical elements in them.

The CGI for Bebob and Rocksteady looks mediocre in the trailer. And Tyler Perry one to the Batman and Robin overacting school to play Baxter Stockman

I stayed away from the last one...it's on my Hulu queue and I still haven't watched it....though I might now.


With that said, I watched the trailer with my son (he's only 7 months but he didn't cry) last night and it was awesome. It looked far better than whatever that first was on, Rocksteady & Beebop were dead on...and Casey Jones played by Mr. Arrow himself...come on, what's seriously not to love? We even have a Baxter Stockman it looks like. (Though it reminded me of Nutty Professor). And it looks like it is leading up to Krang and Dimension X which makes me extremely happy. I'm doing the voice in my head right now.

I'm sure its the popular thing to bash it because of the Michael Bay influence (and I did my fair share last time), but I think many will be pleasantly surprised by this one. *Fingers crossed*.
