Dickie Jones voice of Disney's Pinocchio has died at 87.

Jones worked steadily as an actor, but Pinocchio is probably his best known role. He was named a Disney Legend in 2000. He died Monday (July 7) after a fall at his home.

He's actually more famous as a western star. He worked with Gene Autry a lot and starred in two TV series that Autry produced: "The Range Rider" and "Buffalo Bill Jr." He did all his own stunts and trick riding. He was pretty damned good. Let me see if I can find a YouTube episode from either of those series.
