I guess I never really thought about how long Vader was really around. Fourteen years after Revenge of the Sith seems like a long time for some reason but I guess it would make sense as Anakin has obviously aged quite a bit by Return of the Jedi and it would have taken time for the Empire to rise to power even after the Jedi were defeated.

I like how in the new film they called the base Starkiller as a nod to what was going to be the original name of the Skywalker clan.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn’t even been in theaters a full week yet, but plans are already in motion for its follow-up, Episode VIII. Rian Johnson (Looper) is directing that sequel, but J.J. Abrams is apparently regretting not returning to the galaxy far, far away to helm it himself.
His longtime friend Greg Grunberg (who has a small part in The Force Awakens and also appeared on Abrams’ TV series Lost and Felicity) told The Washington Post that Abrams reacted that way after recently reading the Episode VIII script.
“He read it and said something he never, ever says,” Grunberg said of Abrams. “He said: ‘It’s so good, I wish I were making it.’”
“He may have said something one time on Lost, with Damon [Lindelof, the co-creator],” the actor added, “but I never hear him express regret like that.”

I see this Grunberg guy come up. Some of you gripe about him but why is he such a big deal to ya'll cuz I know fuck all about him.

I remember him only from Alias and he was fine on that. Surprisingly, I know he's on Lost, and I bought that big ass set yeas ago - but have yet to watch it.

He's on a single episode of Lost. I think the only one Abrams directed. He was also on Felicity. I don't get the big deal as he was a major character on both Alias and Felicity. His bit parts in the other Abrams stuff only stands out because we expect to see him. Maybe I don't see the big deal because I like the guy.

Just saw a pic of him. I know the face but beyond that I don't know him. Maybe from alias... which I barely saw.

I dislike Greg Grunberg because he was a regular on Heroes (2004 series). That show started off great and eventually turned sour, and now have a deep hatred for that show.
So seeing Grunberg appear in SW made me cringe only because it reminded me of Heroes.
