???
Have you seen interviews with Billy Dee Williams lately? The guy is old and his speech reflects that now as it would be sad to watch old Lando on screen. He was on Arsenio Hall a few years back before TFA came out, and he was very slow with his speech, as didn't have that quick with like a young Lando would have. Let's put it this way, he didn't age as gracefully as a Clint Eastwood did who is still cool into his 80's.

Carrie Fisher's speech pattern didnt stop them from putting her in TFA. She sounded like someone who had suffered a severe brain injury. They also showed in that movie they weren't shy about using CGI to cover a lifetime of hard livin. They certainly could have propped up Billy Dee well enough to put him in this. Hell, they could have made him an old Lothario surrounded by young chippies taking care of him in his old age.

Billy Dee sounds fine on the episodes of Rebels that they've gotten him to do. Who knows how many takes it took to get that out of him, but surely they could've propped him up enough to do a small fan service part.

re: Lando - I'd hoped he would make an appearance kinda like Jon Voight's character in Heat. Not a key player, but an underground aging gangster who would facilitate some info for the heroes or something like that. Would have been cool to see him in some role like that.

We all wanted to see an aging Lando sipping on Colt 45 and smacking some Twi'lek ass.

I don't know how to embed IG posts on here but Rian Johnson posted a pic yesterday with the caption, "Commentary track time". Hopefully that means we get it on the first release unlike with TFA.

It's not that hard to find, there's two copies posted on Youtube right now, so you can see for yourself, but it's an almost uniformly reviled show, even by its creators:

Rifftrax has a version of it that's very funny:

I kinda wish I didn't watch this featurette. There's a potentially massive spoiler if you know where to look.
Watching the fb live Q&A earlier was fun.

The good thing is all the Late Night interviews with Hamill, Ridley, Boyega, etc don’t spoil anything because they are not allowed to say a word about the movie.

Why do people actively look to have the movie spoiled? I don't get not wanting the movie to unfold and surprise you.
