I think they have to give us a trailer before Force Friday (Sept 1).

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (12/15/17, W/D: Rian Johnson)

Big leak of some promo shots (actors posing for marketing, action figure reference, etc)

Warning - the third pic down is a BIG reveal of Snoke. Our first look at him in person. I honestly can't tell if it's CG or a puppet....but it looks real.

Nothing else spoilery, just some nice hi rez shots of the costumes, everything looks great!

I wonder the significance, if any, of the stick that Luke is holding. Looks too long to be Yoda's cane and too short to be of any benefit as a cane for himself.

I hate what they did with the scare on Kylo. It does look better on his cheek but if you watch the movies back to back it won't make any sense.

Poor Poe. Doesn't even get any play on these shots.

I really hate what they did with Kylo's character after the mask comes off. Ruined him like Sammy Hagar Van Halen song.

Kylo looks like Howard Stern

Yeah the movement of the scar is a minor nitpick. I can see why they moved it because it did look stupid where it was but I wish they would have thought of that when they gave it to him initially.

I've already created a headcanon to say that it was a reaction to the bacta tank that caused his skin to get inflamed.

Ultimately I don't think it's something that will really annoy me. I mean really we don't see him with the scar in The Force Awakens. We just see him hit there and assume a scar. If he had it throughout the film and they moved it I'd probably be more bothered.

When Kylo told Ren she needs a "teacher", he lost me... a teacher? It just came across as childish. It doesn't help that Adam Driver is distracting in his looks - not menacing and not handsome. Just distracting.

I think the role was horribly miscast.

He doesnt bother me other then I think people are forgetting he isnt a full blown Sith Master. More like an apprentice.

Yeah, Kylo seems like the mouthpiece for the First Order basically and seems more along the lines of a high ranking apprentice rather than a full blown Sith Lord like Vader. I think it makes him a bit more interesting that he's not exactly a Darth Vader clone and also not as shallow as Darth Maul.

I'll take Driver's good acting and OK looks over pretty boy Hayden Christenson who can't act for shit.

I actually wish Driver were Anakin Skywalker, as I can somewhat sympathize with his whiny portrayal, where I just never liked Christenson's portrayal the second he appeared on screen.

Very true in essence Driver is playing a better version of what they were trying to do with Anakin in the prequels. All these SW movies (even though I do love them) are just call backs and reference to previous themes and characters

I'm thinking the guy who played lead in that Valerian movie may have fared better... his eternal resting bitch face is more appropriate of a bitter Sith apprentice.

Dane DeHaan excels at playing a troubled youth (Chronicle, Amazing Spider-Man 2, Place Beyond the Pines, etc.)

Is Rey gonna take a shower in this movie? Her filth in first movie really bothered me.
