I also find myself annoyed with all of the Star Wars junk filling the shelves. Hero Mashers. Air Hogs. Those Micro Machines that are size of postage stamps. Does anyone buy that shit? Every store I've been to has tons of that crap that looks untouched.

And what the hell is up with all of the ships coming with Nerf darts? The U-Wing, TIE Striker, and AT-ACT all have that Nerf shit.
I bought my son the Poe X-Wing for Xmas... you can't even close the "glass" cockpit door over the character in the pilot seat.

The Lego W-Wing is a pretty nice set.

That's a valid point.

Though I'd still prefer to stand in a long line wrapped around the theater in warm weather rather than the freezing cold.

I'm probably spoiled, but I will only buy advance tickets anymore to theaters with reserved seating. I'm too old to stand in line for an hour or more to get a decent seat.

^ Ditto. And I pretty much only do IMAX at this point. I go to the theater rarely, so when I do I want to do it right.

I still get good seats at a regular theater. I just arrive early, use the ticket kiosk, then pretty much pick my spot. Reserved seating is great but can take away spontaneity because the good seats will be taken. I like keeping my options open.

Holy shit that looks good. I think I might be more excited for this than I was for TFA and I was absolutely giddy for that.

I was really looking forward to this until I saw a "special" preview that was shown before Doctor Strange which I hadnt seen before. It was introduced by one of the cast member and for some reason the trailer left me totally cold. It made the movie seem boring and overwrought. I hope this was just a bad trailer and not indicative of the actual movie.

I'm for sure more excited for this than VII for sure. It has the most to live up to cuz of where it stands in the story of this universe.

Wow doesn't cover it. I wonder if they're afraid of outshining the main saga, but having Luke back (in VIII) is also a big draw.

I've said it before, but this looks really, REALLY good.

It would seem that Disney knows how to do Star Wars right. Thank God Lucas sold the franchise!

Just the overacting, the overdramatic music and shots chosen for the trailer. This is supposed to be a fun pulp adventure series not a dramatic political thriller.
