I will give Disney credit in that The Force Awakens and Rogue One mesh visually with the Originals much more then the Prequels did. This looks really good!

Jesus, the visuals are absolutely stunning, and I'd say more than Episode VII. I can only imagine what this will look like on IMAX.

I hope the father is an actual captive instead of going bad. I've seen the latter too much. I mean, if it's good.. it's good. But i've seen it too much. of someone in their past going bad and staying bad and the kid goes through conflict and blah blah

I love seeing the AT-STs and AT-ATs in new locations. They are so iconically at Hoth or on Endor (and yes, I know there's one AT-ST on Hoth 
) that seeing those same vehicles in new locations gives me chills.
That's the number one thing the Prequels missed for me. R2-D2 was the only really great connection and they fucked him all up with his stupid jet engines and gadgets.
