Holy shitballs, that was AMAZING!

Loved seeing all of the callbacks to the OT like Mon Mothma, the caped suit, the old school stormtroopers and orange flight suits.

I forgot that was there and when I saw the rerelease back in the theater I was like "holy shit, has that always been there?" That's the most boring part of the movie so I guess I'd fastfowarded through it when watching it at home as a kid.

Exactly. Luke is the only living person who ever saw Darth Vader do something redemptive and Luke brought back his dead body. Even if Luke was telling everyone Vader turned good just before the end, I think most people would have been skeptical that he was telling the truth.

or how about having an entire cadre of force ghosts helping to keep that little emo shit in line? The Jedi can be a bunch of real dicks sometime. When they sensed that Luke was losing Kylo Ren to the Dark Side, couldn't they all show up, Ben - his namesake, Anakin - his grandfather, and Yoda - Luke's master and have some sort of fucking intervention for the kid? Fucking Jedi assholes.

Force Ghost Anakin could have told Ben that not only did he turn back to the lightside but he got to go back to age that he was before he turned. Or perhaps he did and Ben/Kylo just figures, fuck it, I can be evil and if it doesn't work out I can turn back and all will be forgiven.

This trailer looked amazing.

It takes way too long to get Luke all the way to Vader. I actually dozed off during that whole sequence during the rerelease.

I could be mistaken, but I think the novelization has some dialogue between Kylo and Snoke that indicates both are aware Vader sacrificed himself to save Luke. They just dismiss it as a moment of weakness on his part.

That trailer looked better than TFA. If the movie is everything this trailer makes it out to be it will actually be a superior movie - and that's great news since TFA was pretty darned good.
