I haven't seen any of those seasons since they were originally on. I don't recall any super-powered humans becoming rangers in them. Granted, I don't recall much about them.

This looks awful, like THE BREAKFAST CLUB meets X-MEN. Teenage angst, dark imagery, ominous music, bedroom scenes, not child-friendly at all. Fine, if you like that sort of thing, but it's not Power Rangers.

It can go either way. I have no idea who any of the cast are and their banter mixed in with the bad acting is awful. It seems like they're taking the origins via the Chronicle route in terms of getting their powers.

Images of the tie in toys are out for some of the props and t-rex zord design. Im not a fan of what they are going for yet. Like some sort of "Tremors" meets tiny bugs from "Starship Troopers" going on.

I dunno it's hard to really judge from a picture of a cheap kids toy. I'm expecting something similar to a Bay Transformers design or something.

Honestly between that and the Megazord toy which looks pretty bad I'm growing more iffy on this film. I already wasn't exactly sold on the Rangers having actual super powers in the trailer and these designs aren't helping any.

Power Rangers to me were always the same as the Ninja Turtles....a complete mystery as to why people liked this shit. The horrible design, horrible acting, the way it was filmed in a hyperkentic fashion, and just general bullshit about it all just flew by me. I watched that trailer and the movie looks like more of the same. The effects on the liquid suit going over the guy looked cheap and nasty and the jumping the creek looking equally shit.
