This movie may be good, or it might be awful. But none of that matters because watching Ash Ketchum's inevitable fanboy breakdown when it's released will be worth twice the price of admission.

But the toys... That was the first time since Shogun Warriors that we got Godaikin on US shelves, and of course they were impossible to find.
I wonder if this will be imported to Japan somehow. I know they actually played the English version of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight there.

Totally depends what age you were when it came out, I think. I remember my brother liking the show. In Hawaii I had grown up watching subbed Battle Fever J, Kamen Rider, and Kikaider so I liked the original Japanese versions as a kid.
But the toys... That was the first time since Shogun Warriors that we got Godaikin on US shelves, and of course they were impossible to find.
I wonder if this will be imported to Japan somehow. I know they actually played the English version of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight there.

In IE, I can only see about the left third of the image (it cuts off the rest) and I have to page down about 8 times to get to the bottom of one of them.

I saw the cast interviewed during Comic Con and they seemed like a cool down to earth bunch of kids.
I was never a big Power Rangers fan. The original series aired when I was in High School and at the time, I rarely watched afternoon TV let alone TV in general. But, I might give this movie a look.

I was around 10-12 when Power Rangers was hot. I got close to liking it. But I could never quite get involved. Will gladly give this a shot. Looking forward to a trailer.

Interesting trailer, seems weird that it seems like they get strength/powers as regular humans. And it seems like they stumble upon everything instead of being chosen? Surprised how long it was without actually showing them in action in suits/zords.

I think they are taking concepts introduced in waaaaay later seasons where the rangers had powers before becoming rangers. Which was weird. But hey its Power Rangers so…

That's very rare. I've been watching every season and I don't recall any Rangers who had powers before becoming Rangers except, maybe, for a few aliens who became Rangers, one in PR IN SPACE and a couple of seasons ago in PR SUPER MEGA FORCE.
