If we don't have to choose original compositions for movies then "Siegfrieds Death and Funeral March" from Gotterdamerung and "O Fortuna" from the Carmina Burana for Excalibur. Possibly the greatest choral piece and greatest symphonic piece ever written both in the same movie.

Same here. The variations throughout the film are also great. Especially when Draco's helicopters are flying to Piz Gloria to attack. The way the theme builds as they fly closer and closer.

The first time I saw Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid was when I bought the Peckinpah box set in 05. I watched the special edition a good 10 times before I watched the the other cut. Maybe its somewhat because the Special Edition is the one I fell in love with, but I MUCH prefer the 05 Special edition. It's my favourite Peckinpah film and probably one of the 10 best films I've ever seen.
