Thanks. We were all waiting anxiously for the Mike86 typical comment.
But yea. It does look like shit to me. Looks more like a Transformers CG fest.

I don't see why it's a bigger deal for me to leave a comment than it is for anyone else to.

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the comedic moments? If so there were already some of them in the earlier trailers before Whedon took over so I'm not sure how much he's added. Also I still find Ezra Miller's portrayal as Barry/The Flash to not work very well and he seems to be the focus of a lot of the comedy aspects.

I’m still eagerly anticipating this!
As a Superman fan, I’m excited to him show up again, and hope the “evil” Superman angle, of true, is handled quickly so the story can move past that obvious conclusion.
Mamoa, with only a couple lines of dialogue, looks like he’s got a pretty damn good handle on his character.
I’m looking forward to see Aquaman kick ass.
I haven’t been a huge fan of DC’s output yet (though I don’t hate it either) but I think this might get me in the theater on opening night for the first time in a long time.

that looked pretty good and good use of Wallflowers song. so those baddies are not in DC lore? and since when can Aquaman fly?

Looks fun.
Hopefully the work that Joss Whedon put into thid makes it a fun movie and not a destruction porn fest like Man of Steel and BvS. That was really my main criticism of those movies as they became some bogged down with explosions and destruction porn.

I think he meant the part when Cyborg let him go and he leaps away. Aquaman can leap so I'm assuming that's what he's doing in that shot. It could be mistaken for flying though.

Not even just that... it wasn’t even The Wallflowers version in the trailer.

Joss Whedon is known for deconstructing and pointing out moments that aren't as grounded as he wants them to be. He did it as early as the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. While there's a lot for me to like about Whedon's movies and TV, that is what I identify him by the most.

Geez, does this ever look like hot garbage.
Why is it every DC film has such poor backgrounds? This looks like a video game trailer; zero tangible environments. Everything looks fake and cheap. And lame. Very, very lame.
I'll bet this scores a lower RT than BvS.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it didn't feel so forced. Barry feels like he's going to be the annoying younger character who's always making quips. Cyborg seems like he could go that way too to a lesser extent from what's been shown thus far.

And maybe it's a response to the look of the Marvel films, and Nolan films, where for the most part, everything looks like it takes place in the real world, while here, it's like a comic book brought to life (300, Sin City, Watchmen).
I think it looks bad too.
The geek-personality-for-awkward-laughs is starting to get old, but the scene at the end of the trailer actually made me smile.

They lighten up the film's tone and you guys still shit on it. You guys have been bellyaching since Man of Steel. Give it a rest already.
