Sometimes my movie-viewing experience isn't fully complete without listening to the final tracks.

Unforgiven-"Claudia's Theme"
Brazil-"Bachianos Brazil Samba"
Godfather Parts I & II-Theme medleys
Starman-Main Theme
Donnie Darko-"For Whom The Bell Tolls" (I'm positive another track plays after this, but I always have to listen to this one)
Poltergeist-"Carol Anne's Theme"
Mad Max- Don't know the actual name of it, but it's the first set heard here
The Last Emperor-Main Theme
Saving Private Ryan- Actually just listened to the whole final track fairly recently. I was surprised by how strong it is.
The Elephant Man- Although the version heard in the film is slightly superior to the album version.
Platoon-"Adagio for strings" Ironically, plays before ^that.
Rocky-"Rocky's Reward"
Scarface-"Tony's Theme,Elvira & Gina's Theme" (Theatrical version runs a little longer than the album version. And sounds a bit better too)
Chinatown-"Love Theme"
Phantom Menace-"Duel of the Fates,"Anakin's Theme"...And Vader breath
Once Upon A Time in America-"Deborah's Theme"

^I noticed that the 80's did well there.

Great fucking Kiss love song that we will never EVER see performed live. One of Paul Stanley's best vocals too. Damn it, where's the Blu-ray?!

the end song by Yumi Arai used in the Japanese language version of KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE, heard here but without the end sequence that it accompanies (see the actual movie for that!):

For me, just about everything Vangelis has done score wise for movies, including The Bounty. Overall, I prefer orchestral scores to songs for end credits. Some others of Vangelis:

Blade Runner
1492: Conquest of Paradise
Chariots of Fire
Missing
El Greco
Alexander
Antarctica

Some others, including songs:

The Bourne Identity - Extreme Ways (although it should have been used only in the first movie)
The Wonder Boys - Things Have Changed
Bram Stoker's Dracula - Love Song for A Vampire
Heat - God Moving Over the Face of the Waters
Life of Brian - Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

:thumbsup: Too bad it's followed by that generic "Spirit". That's the one challenging thing about the song-selections. Is to have two songs in a row that you end up loving (Which Goodfellas nailed) Same reason why I couldn't include Dead Presidents ("Walk on By" is one of my all-time favorites, but it's followed by the weak cover of "Where is the love")

Yeah, I'm a big lover of 60's/70's scores/songs. But those always seemed to wrap up within 30 seconds. It's much more immersive to listen to an ending soundtrack that goes beyond 4 minutes.

This is a different situation but as I was leaving a movie, I just had to walk into the theater playing Man on a Ledge because I heard The Clash's Police on my Back playing during the end credits.

As a side note, most idiotic usage of that song is in Knocked Up where the sisters are shopping for pregnancy tests.

Man of Steel....hell, ive it even let the dvd menu screen play for long periods after watching thr film i love that score.

The Fountain....another gorgeous score

Solaris(remake)...that score puts me into a cool trance.

Songs:

Dracula '92....Annie Lennox end credit song. Not sure of the title

LOTR:Return of the King....I think it was this film but I know it was another Annie Lennox song.

^ If the final Avengers movie doesn't find a way to integrate all of the MCU heroes into something like that, I will be VERY disappointed.
