I have a feeling this will be one of those sequels that makes *considerably* more than its predecessor. I wouldn't be surprised if its opening weekend number wasn't too far off the total domestic take of the first one. The first one picked up a huge cult following on video.

Trailer was kind of blah for me. The first one seemed overpraised but was a decently fun; iffy on this, but I think my fiancee is going to want to go.

No question. I know a ton of huge fans, but I believe I'm the only one who actually saw it in theaters.

Missed the first one in theaters but caught it on HBO and thoroughly loved it. Now part of my travel movie rotation along with Zodiac and The Avengers.
I thought the trailer did what it should do: show us a little of the spirit of the first movie and how they’re expanding that theme.
Sold and definitely catching this one in the cineplex.

Loved the original - it helps that I sang in groups like that in high school and college. And it's in the same vein as Bring It On, which is another one of my favorites. A movie that's better than the subject matter would seem to indicate. Mostly because the creators have a handle on the fact that yes, it can look lame to outsiders but it's a fun activity that people do take seriously.

I kinda wish they didn't show plot details in this trailer. Make it kind of vague like the teaser.

I love me some Anna Camp, and even though I know she's in the movie, she seems to be missing from most of the group shots. Hopefully she's still a major part of the movie.

Hmm, I guess the digital HD for the original would be on Amazon rather than Flixster, which has some value to me since I can get that on more devices. Maybe only a few bucks, but every bit helps.

I went and saw it this afternoon with a couple of friends. It was an ok sequel. The musical parts were a little bit better in this one than in the first one.

Just got back in from catching this one with the wife. It was alright, but it was really lacking the charm that the original had.
