In all seriousness though, are people really concerned about seeing this in a theater? Look, I'm as lilly-white as they come, but it didn't cross my mind for even a second that I should avoid the theaters. I mean, I probably won't see this at the theater anyway, but now I kind of want to just to prove that it's no big deal.

I'll pass on this. The ridiculous timeline they are focusing is just too far out there. The attraction for me in these trailers are the cuts they use. I can listen to them at home.

I remember going to see both Menace II Society and Boyz N The Hood on opening night, the 10 pm shows, and there were no problems at all. But that was the good ole 1990s.

I didn't see Menace in theaters, but saw Boyz opening day and the guys who had baseball caps on (Including myself) had to take them off before we went into the theater. Dress code days!

Well, this is getting mostly positive reviews. I am surprised F. Gary Gray was allowed to get a final cut of 2 hours, 37 minutes though. Holy shit, that is a long movie.

A movie that long isn't going to get many showings in 1 day unless it's on multiple screens. I'm curious to see how this does. I think I will see this in theaters. It's just a matter of when.
