I'm assuming that The Russos are the ones tackling the two Avengers movies considering they recently slipped up a mentioned two movies in the interview I posted a few days ago.

I wonder if they actually got Evans back for Nomad. I guess they could easily do a film or limited series between Civil War and Infinity War.

I like it! Only downside is all the films that could be 2026 or later now - Shang Chi, Deadpool, Dr Strange, Mutants?

They have the date of 2/16/24 staked for a film yet to be announced. Maybe Deadpool will be it.

Marvel absolutely dominanted todays news. Kicked DC’s ass.

I donít know. I just feel kind of down on Marvel/the MCU lately. Iíll still watch the films as they release but Iím kind of meh on it. Two Avengers films in a year seems excessive.

Re: The General Marvel Cinematic Universe Film discussion thread - News, rumors, etc.

So who do we have left that are "Avengers" or could be one when the 2 movies get up and running?

Thor
Spider-man (if deal with Sony gets worked out and if Holland is still involved)
Shang-Chi
Hulk
Captain Marvel
Monica Rambeau
Captain America (Sam Wilson)
Bucky Barnes
Captain Marvel
Kamala Khan?
Hawkeye
Antman
The Wasp
Stinger? (Cassie Lang)
Doctor Strange
Daredevil?
Okoye and Shuri?
Nick Fury?
War Machine
The Fantastic Four when they get introduced

Not sure about the Guardians since it sounds like 3 is their swan song

I'm sure I'm missing a few.

Nomad could be just about anything.

I think there have been about five Nomads (including Steve Rogers) in the comics over the years.

I saw a tweet saying Fiege said they aren’t directing these movies.

D23 is now completely sold out.

I'm sure there was a mad dash to get orders in after today and anticipation for all the news that will come. I got mine already for the 1st day. Ordered it a few months ago.

Hell yes - a slew of great announcements and I canít wait to see where everything goes from here. I bet Secret Wars will take elements from both of the series.

i would guess one or two Guardians get shuffled somewhere else after that series is wrapped up. My guess is Rocket, since he already seemed to be folded into the team during Endgame, and he seems popular with kids.

Teddy Roosevelt in 1877. He would have made the perfect Wolverine.

Re: The General Marvel Cinematic Universe Film discussion thread - News, rumors, etc.

Article on how overworked and stressed VFX artists are working for Disney-Marvel. Good luck on the 2 Avengers films in one year.

Marvel genuinely works you really hard. I’ve had co-workers sit next to me, break down, and start crying. I’ve had people having anxiety attacks on the phone.

Uh, that's any film heavy with VFX and tight deadlines. It's why some have been trying to unionize the industry for a while now. https://vfxunion.org/

Man, sounds like we have enough for an Avengers... on the West Coast. And maybe even like a Young team.

Take it for what it's worth but social seems to be rolling with Tom Holland having signed a multi-picture deal to appear in both SONY and MCU projects over the next few years.
