Sure as hell was it an impactful film. Much more than WoWS, though it was more enjoyable than Slave. Slave was fucking great to see as McQueen's 3rd film. Him and Fassy are 3 for 3.

your opinion is wrong in my opinion. You seem to have difficulty understanding that. And I've never heard something as true that is YOUR opinion. People like you make me laugh like someone isn't allowed to question your opinion. I can, did and will do it again if need be.

You mean his point that an opinion can't be wrong?
In a "Yeah, because WoWS was a much better movie than 12 Years a Slave despite 12YAS being better material in the grand scheme of things. This is 100% fact." manner of speaking. Which is indisputably true btw.
Then again, it's the internet, I thought everybody knew to throw an imaginary "IMO" to the end of every statement

Oh, man, am I gonna regret this? I did not care for this movie at all: http://bit.ly/1c8h3Wv. Still, I talked to actress Margot Robbie. Here's part 1 of our talk: http://bit.ly/1cYpzsq and the meaty stuff in part 2: http://bit.ly/1fcRXud. We can be civil, objective and sill disagree.

Does anyone know how long the actual film is without the end credits, or I guess even the beginning credits, although those don't seem to be around for really long films.
Is the movie itself about 2 hours, 50 minutes?

I thought it was pretty good. Felt very much like casino for the first third, but I think casino will live far longer. Good movie but crazy to rank it among Scorsese's classics.

I absolutely loved the movie, 3 hours flew by. I've seen most of the leading actor front runner movies and no matter how much I love Chiwetel Ejiofor's performance, DiCaprio deserves the oscar. His performance in this is far beyond anything he's done in his career, and I've always thought he was a excellent actor.
oh, and I don't want to be friends with Margot Robbie.

When my show ended, it seemed like about 175 minutes when the end credits started.

It's almost exactly 2hr 53m before the end credits start rolling (which go on for about 6 minutes, surprisingly short for a movie this long.)
My buddy has the movie memorized inside and out now, it's weird.

After being a bit let down by American Hustle, I absolutely enjoyed the heck out of this movie. This and Gravity probably take my top two movies of the year. Leo's performance was great, especially his drug induced craziness. I hope he win's best actor for his performance here. I'm curious about the longer cut, as it does seem to skip a few years at the end when Leo gets captured, so i'm wondering if there was more there to bridge the gap from when he quit and sobered up to when he got caught.
And his wife is gorgeous. Damn.
