Indy drank from the holy grail. It probably shaved a few years off his body.

so much bad CGI.
Dial of Destiny? I mean, I don't know the Macguffin yet, but couldn't you make the Dial, like...the Pendulum of Destiny?
I'll watch, but not in the theater.

It didn’t give much away story wise but it did a great job of giving us that “Let’s have one last adventure” vibe. That’s good enough for me.

Nazis....I hate those guys..... The whip and then everyone pulling guns made me laugh. Seemed a bit Bugs Bunny when he just ducked, feet away, from a room full of guys who start shooting. Will still see it.

The title The Dial of Destiny leaked about a week ago.
Makes me fearful that those horrible spoilers that have been making the rounds are true, too.
And something Antonio Banderas said about his role also matches with the rumors I've been hearing.
Goddamn... if everything I've heard turns out to be true, angry moviegoers are going to be setting piles of trash on fire in the theaters.

Looks better than 4 by a mile and I laughed at the ending joke. I’m actually excited for this one!

Looks fun to me , aesthetics are a little too much like the last one and Sky Captain but it doesn't look bad outside of some poorly matched cg.
Fine with the title too, sounds like a 90s point n click adventure title.

I thought it looked fun. And after Crystal Skull I’d watch Indy playing chess for two hours.

Agree with everything you said here. While it wasn't great, I didn't hate "Crystal Skull". But felt this looks a massive improvement. So I'm a little shocked by all of the negative responses. I also have faith in Mangold. I'll be seeing it opening night.

The title and trailer are growing on me
I hope they throw in a nod towards Temple of Doom
maybe a surprise appearance of Short Round or something.

Looks a bit better than Crystal Skull, but for some reason my entire vibe for the whole franchise seems to have faded years ago.
I was a huge fan as a kid, I wore the VHS tapes out playing the over and over.
Years later I got the DVD set and maybe watched it once? Then I found a great price on the Blu-ray and upgraded several years ago and have never even watched any of those.
I'll probably pick up the Blu-ray on the cheap to have a complete movie collection.

Kingdom Of The Chrystal Skull + Disney Star Wars + the trailer = maybe a rental on Vudu.

It's Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. That's enough to get me into the theater. There's still plenty of time to fix some the shitty cgi in the trailer.

So Indy doesn't believe in magic? I guess he forgot about the Nazi's face melting off, seeing the heart pulled out of a man's chest while it still beat and then catches fire and his dad being saved by drinking out of a cup in his old age. I wonder if this is going to be like The Last Jedi where the writer of the film has never actually seen any of the earlier films in the series?

I can suspend disbelief just fine and enjoy this movie for what it is.
ETA: This thread has started to bring the funny, Golden, if the trailer really was 2 minutes of Indy trying to deal with a bout of explosive diarrhea while sitting on the throne it would launch another 10 pages in this thread of folks wondering what gave Indy the squirts, a bad prune, someone who tried to poison him by slipping something in his food/water, etc..

Yeah, because there is a plausible explanation for talking to ghosts and being put under mind control from drinking something.

That line ground my gears, too. We've had four movies where downright miraculous things happen, so it's a weird thing for him to say. And, from a writing standpoint, it just feels like its a cheap and lazy way to define the character for the audience. Sort of like the Scully thing on the X-Files where she's still skeptical about stuff after handling dozens cases of weird shit.
And it also sort of implies that Indiana Jones never did much of anything remarkable between the films.
