Well, that’s not good.
I don’t know why they seem to be so insistent that there’s a “pass the torch” moment in this series. If the one ending is true, this will be the second swing-and-miss attempt.
It doesn’t seem that hard to just let the series progress naturally without Indy. It’s been done a thousand times in other series’ without doing some kind of official passing of the torch.

I’m trying to hold my judgment until we see a trailer or something but I haven’t thought this movie seemed like a good idea since it was announced. Mangold is a good director though so hopefully we get a decent film.

Look at Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale - They did three BTTF movies and kept their word that they were done!
If the rumors are true, Harrison Ford is too old to do a mulligan and do an Indiana Jones 6 to clear off the stink oft he franchise, as Sylvester Stallone did with Rocky VI.

I heard about that test screenings rumor with Bob Chapek considering canceling the movie, and it’s without a doubt bull fucking shit.
C’mon now you seriously cannot be that gullible? Just more internet bull shit like how Bob Iger re-edited Star Wars the rise of Skywalker. And then George Lucas did his own edit because “test screenings” were disastrous.
And you can’t forget the 10 minute standing ovation for the Justice League “test screenings”.
Seriously it’s horseshit.
Have any of you actually been to a test screening? You have to sign an NDA, provide all your social media account names and give you full name and number. Otherwise you will be sued for up to $2M. Test screenings on the studio lot with industry professionals and their family and friends would probably have tighter security.

So glad Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have both put the kibosh on a new film without their consent and without Michael J Fox or Christopher Lloyd.

I guess if they stick with not showing him talk and just have brief subdued expressions like Luke in the Boba-Fett show it won't be cringe like The Irishman. Mads looking awfully like Toht from Raiders (hopefully not a relative) but leather and round glasses seems pretty standard Nazi garb.

Everything looking and sounding good so far. (1969 would make Indy 70) Trailer (and film) just needs to deliver!

Oh my yes!
I was worried that Ford would half ass it like he did in that Jack London film, but it looks like he's committed here.

Wow, I gotta be honest, that looks like dogshit.
One of the hallmarks that makes the original Indy films great is their amazing practical effects and stunts. That looks like a video game.

Maybe it's just YouTube compression but both the de-aged Ford and the stuff with his face on the stuntman riding the horse look wonky.

And it looks like NYC in 1969 is the Apollo 11 astronauts parade.
