I've never seen such an unexciting trailer get so protected like this before.

Absolute bullshit "trailer." No fucking footage at all.

When did that "trailer" actually come out?

Well, if it's attached to 70mm prints, my guess would be in about 2 places.

The teaser isn't new. If I'm not mistaken it was attached to Sin City: A Dame To Kill for last August.

I'm assuming they took it down because they realized how genuinely awful that "trailer" was. What a waste of time.

I hope he brings something clichéd and timeworn to the table.

Based on the chains, Kurt Russell plays a convict?

Ah. The shot makes it look like both his hands are chained.

-Jennifer Jason Leigh is Daisy Domergue, a.k.a. “The Prisoner”
-Walton Goggins is Chris Mannix, a.k.a. “The Sheriff”
-Demian Bichir is Bob, a.k.a. “The Mexican”
-Tim Roth is Oswaldo Mobray, a.k.a. “The Little Man”
-Michael Madsen is Joe Gage, a.k.a. “The Cow Puncher”
-Bruce Dern is General Sanford Smithers, a.k.a. “The Confederate”

Re: The Hateful Eight (2015, D: Tarantino)

It's a shitty looking cover for EW, but I'm glad this film got the cover this early nonetheless.

Can't wait to read it and hopefully see some good still shots in the piece.

I love the movie/TV references in the names Marquis Warren, Domergue and Mannix.

That's convenient. He's just using the same look for both movies (shot from Bone Tomahawk on the horse)

Jackson is always great in a QT film. Never thought I'd think that a house N igger would be such a great character.

Re: The Hateful Eight (2015, D: Tarantino)

I have no problems with movies that have long run times but for Kleeberg's last few efforts....they probably would have been much better if they were trimmed up a bit (especially django) - would never hold my breath on that happening as the dude loves filmmaking and wants every bit he can shoot left in but...just sayin'.

Look forward to this one though.

I think that since Tarantino is their personal king Midas, the Weinsteins never, ever, ever tell him "Hey Quentin, this scene is too long." I like Tarantino, and watching his last few films, it'd be foolish to say that he's not a talented filmmaker, because he is obviously is. I just wish he'd learn a little restraint.
