Since there's no constraints on the running time I hope it's over 3 hours.

Vince could never stop drinking booze. He's been bloated since the mid-90's. He even got lipo but he's never been skinny since Dr. Feelgood.

I actually will be shocked it this runs over 2 hours. No one wanted to make it so Netflix "saved" it. We all know how that usually turns out. I am looking forward to hearing the 4 new songs they have recorded for it.

If no one wanted to make it I’d say it’s because a faithful adaptation of the book would be an NC-17. I don’t think Netflix cares since it’ll just be TV-MA.

If I remember correctly, they wanted the opening scene to be of a girl squirting.

Their music made them famous. Their lives made them infamous. Watch The Dirt on Netflix March 22, 2019.

Based on Mötley Crüe’s 2001 best-selling autobiography, The Dirt is an unflinching and uncensored story about sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll, fame, and the high price of excess. Director Jeff Tremaine (JACKASS co-creator, BAD GRANDPA) shows us just how Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth), Mick Mars (Iwan Rheon), Tommy Lee (Colson Baker), and Vince Neil (Daniel Webber) took Mötley Crüe from the Sunset Strip to the world stage, and what it meant to become the world’s most notorious rock band.

I will probably watch it but that trailer did nothing for me. Don't get me wrong; I have read the book ( my ex-wife was a huge fan) that is why I think a movie is a bad idea. There is no way it will capture the book or even get close.

This has the potential to be worse than the VH1 Def Leppard biopic. And that's saying something.

The actor playing Nikki Sixx is awesome. He was in Limehouse Golem and that was one of my favorite films of 2017.

I think the guy playing Nikki looks more like Tommy. And you are correct the Limehouse Golem was great caught it on Hulu recently.

Will they just intercut Motley Crue Uncensored into this?

To be fair, this statement could have been made anytime between 1990 and now and still ring true.

Sounds like most of the crappy songs that KISS did for the album Psycho Circus when they "reunited."

At least they fixed that with Sonic Boom with Tommy and Eric who actually played on it. Rumor is Ace and Peter barely played on PS.

Yeah, I agree. I love their first two albums and Dr. Feelgood is decent, but I'm not much of a fan of the rest of their output.

True, Ace and Peter played on Ace's track, "Into the Void" and not much else. Pretty lame.

I really didn't care if Peter or Ace played as much as just wanting it to be a good album. It wasn't. The lyrics are pretty awful on every song and almost every tune sounded completely generic.

I have never been a huge Crue music fan but I like them. I listened to Shout At The Devil because my parents told me not to and were scared to death of that album and them. Theatre Of Pain was good as was Girls Girls Girls. What is funny is the only album I ever actually owned by the Crue was Dr. Feelgood. That album is great top to bottom and I always loved it. I was working in a music store in college when they came out with that album without Neil. Everyone at the time hated it. Everyone.

I will say that all the press makes me want to pick up a copy of The Dirt and read it. Sounds right up my alley. Always saw it in bookstores but never felt compelled to give it a read.

The movie will be the cliff notes version of the book so I would highly recommend reading it.
