Logan is a bizarre title. Not a very recognizable title for the franchise.
Should have called it Logan: Wolverine III
Or Logan: Wolverine the final chapter or something like that.

Despite the fact that sometimes it seems like there's nothing but sequels at the theaters these days, studios don't want to advertise the fact that they're sequels. Gone are the days when everything is named "part 2" and "part 3" and so on. You call the movie Wolverine 3 and you're less likely to attract new viewers who maybe haven't seen the first two. Throw in the fact that the Wolverine series so far includes two (for the most part) stand alone movies that have more to do with other X-Men movies than they do with each other, and I can understand the lack of continuity in the titles.

Apparently you can't dislike something without getting called out on it these days.
I don't care for the "Logan" movie name either. Don't get me wrong, Logan: Wolverine III is even sillier, but I'd be surprised if that's the final name/branding.

That kid has freakishly long fingers to be able to see them peeking out of Jackman's palm.
Are they still doing the R-rated thing? The title probably has something to do with that. Trying to distance this and make it, its own thing.

Yes, it's still going to be R rated.

The internet is an overwhelmingly negative environment. It's not surprising that there's some backlash from time to time.

I didn't even think I was being that negative if I'm the one in question. I said twice that I still want to see the film. I just don't love the title plain and simple. It's not the biggest deal and it has no bearing on me watching as I've liked the other X-Men films and like Jackman.

I just hope the movie doesn't go dumb fuck like Wolverine 2 did at the final fight. That movie was damn near close to being so well rounded aside from that iffy shit that makes no goddamn sense to what world they developed for him to involve himself with there. They should have just kept it like in the comic. A battle between two men. Make it emotionally involving. A fight like that would have been great to see. But we got... "Silver Samurai" there. Ugh. That just seemed like dumb fuck executive bs there.

I really liked The Wolverine a great deal and even Viper who came under a lot of attack i find fine in the movie. I am looking forward to this and good to see a full on R Rated Wolverine at last. I am a bit disappointed that we are not getting something more akin to the Old Man Logan story, but i understand the limitations the studio has with this.
I am really interested to see how long it takes before they reboot Wolverine with a new actor. The character i feel still has a lot of miles in him yet and seeing another take on the character would be great (even though Jackman has done a fantastic job throughout). Lets finally get Omega Red on screen and maybe even Liev Schreiber back as Sabretooth, or a full on Sabretooth this time.

I'm sure Fox won't wait too long to reboot. Along with Deadpool the biggest Marvel character they have the rights to is Wolverine. I doubt they stop using him for very long as long as comic films remain popular.
