That video is stupid. That diet plan is worthless if he doesn't also do the workout routine for which that diet plan was designed.

Will be a little sad to see the series end, but it's been a great run! Hoping this is a sequel to the DOFP ending. Maybe include a few of the old X-Men crew for good measure, still would've liked to see another movie with the old cast.

Sort of too bad that the franchise (as we know it at least) will be ending in two films. At the same time though it overall has had a pretty good run and lasted a lot longer with a lot of the original cast in tact than can be expected for a lot of these types of films. Hopefully Apocalypse and the third Wolverine film give the cast and their characters a great sendoff.

He confirmed to the audience that the Untitled “Wolverine 3” would be his last offing as the character Logan (as he’s said umpteenth times), but director Bryan Singer let it slip that Jackman would likely have a cameo in ‘Apocalypse’ (as you pretty much expected. As for that third Wolverine. “Three words,” Jackman said, “Old Man Logan,” essentially teasing and confirming rumors that said “Wolverine 3” will feature a storyline that features an older Logan (while a mutant who has super healing powers, Logan does age, just very slowly).

...and then he beats the shit out of younger Logan w/ the one good arm he was. Healing factor or not.

Actually, he does. At least the studio system and audiences demand he does. Between 2000 and now, superhero movies exploded (duh) and with them came expected superhero physiques. No way Jackman (or any other actor) would be caught dead on screen without rippling abs and an armor-plated chest these days. I agree it isn't necessary, but the game has been set and no one is going to do differently.

Actually... the physique has been pushed as much as it has cuz Jackman wanted it that way. Once he came on as Producer, he took his role in the franchise much more seriously than before in all facets.

That last PR shot aside, he looked more or less the same in both Wolverine movies imo. (which is fantastic) And he'll be 47 when they start filming.. that isn't exactly pushing 50, lol.

I don't think Robert Downey Jr is ripped either, although he isn't running around shirtless like Wolverine or Thor so it doesn't matter. Point is he isn't ripped so it refutes your statement that every actor playing a superhero is ripped.
Besides which, many of the superheroes from the early 2000s were ripped too. Wesley Snipes was ripped as Blade. Tobey Maguire got ripped for Spider-Man. Wasn't Hugh Jackman a last minute replacement to play Wolverine and he just didn't have enough time to get ripped? I thought I read that somewhere.

He bulked a good amount more for The Wolverine. It was obvious on the set photos.
Yeah, he was last minute for X1. That changed X2 onward for him.

Apologies if this is how you found out you're pushing 50.
The reason Jackman wasn't so buff in the first X-Men is that by the time he joined the movie it had already been filming for three weeks.

I don't have any skin in the game... I'm mid-30's... but I guess the second I turn 37 I'm pushing 40. Lol, just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm 36 and feel like I'm pushing 40.
4 years is nothing. 4 years will fly by so fast. Especially as you get older and older, time seems to fly by faster and faster. My 30s seem to be flying by significantly faster than my 20s did which in turn flew by faster than my teens did.

Old Man Logan will be pretty boring if Fox doesn't find a way to work with Marvel, given two of the most important characters to that story are Hulk and Red Skull.

Well considering we've had various stories of an old Logan... I'm sure we don't need an adaptation of that thing at all to get an old Logan tale.

All of the other movies were very loose adaptations of popular storylines that had no trouble omitting or replacing characters from the comics. Seeing as how Jackman's age keeps coming up in these discussions, I think it's cool that they're going to run with it and portray and older Logan.

As you may have heard .... It's my last time putting on the claws. What do you want to see happen? 50 words or less. I will read as many as possible. #ONELASTTIME
