With that said, would 21 Jump Street be considered a remake then? Since most of that cast returns playing the TV characters. I consider it a remake.

There's tons more. It was more common in the old days, when remakes were pretty damned common (e.g. three versions of MALTESE FALCON from 1931-1941). Just off the top of my head, in addition to the ones I posted earlier, Frank Puglia played the same role, Prince Cassim, in ALI BABA AND THE FORTY THIEVES (1944) and its remake THE SWORD OF ALI BABA (1965) and is also seen in footage from the original used in the remake--21 years later!

I certainly wouldn't consider it a sequel of any kind, especially since the original was a TV show. It's a reboot at the very least and/or a satire or a big screen adaption. But not a sequel.

Hmmm...no. I own both the movies. I could have sworn she didn't show anything in the remake or if she did, it was just a quick glimpse whereas in the original, she lets the puppies out for air a good bit more.
