"Pretentious" is probably the most overused word on the Internet except for "overrated."

The new ironic!

Around these parts, I'd say "pretentious" is the new censorship. Remember when everyone and their mother were misusing that term over here?

I find it ironic that pretentious is literally the new overrated.

Overrated should only be used for Nolan films. Pretentious for Malick. Any other uses are wrong.

Thanks for pointing that out. Corrected my post.

Meh that picture just looks like Eisenberg with his hair shaved and like he's really trying to force a stern look. Not terribly impressive to me.

It's just Eisenberg with a shaved head. How else di you expect him to look?

Lex Luthor will defeat Superman and Batman by constantly posting to their Facebook pages updates on what he is eating and pics of his cat. They will be too busy to save Earth.

It was only a matter of team before you popped in regarding the Nolan movies

Eisenberg looks older and meaner there then I'm used to him seeing, so better then expected fits my thoughts too.

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) (D: Snyder; S: Gadot)

I think the black and white adds to the effect of making him look more cold and mean to be honest. I will agree that the shaved head makes him look a bit older but I'm still not terribly impressed. It still sort of seems to me like he's really forcing a stern look in that picture to try and look mean.

So why exactly isn't this film being released this year? How long has it been filming for now?

I agree with the majority, looks better than I expected, but keep in mind the black and white really sets the tone in that photo. I imagine the color shot isn't near as interesting.

I too would look to see the Power Armor Luthor in a movie.

No purple/green power armor = No sale!

He also needs to steal forty cakes. That's as many as four tens. That's just terrible.

Actually, Eisenberg looks like Egghead from the Adam West Batman series.

Good picture. Eisenberg is a great actor, he might just surprise us all in this role.

Is he? He's been up and down for me. Has he ever overcome those mannerisms of his? They seem to plague his acting a lot.
