Yeah...but it's a cheap way of resolving a narrative failure. "Nooooo!" and a hug from Lane doesn't really give depth into how it affects Superman. Snyder and Goyer aren't the best at getting into humanistic nature of a character.

Not sure they want to attach it to what looks a stinker. Probably just wait and debut it before Avengers 2, far more exposure and you get the core audience.

It would be funny if it was attached to Ultron. People would see the trailer and think Batman and Superman are now in a Marvel movie.

Maybe, but wouldn't be the first time there was a crossover. Plus, I think the whole DC logo would separate it. However, it's better to spend whatever it costs to attach it to Ultron.

When I saw Iron Man 3 opening day, a Man of Steel trailer was shown right before the movie. No big deal. It's like a DreamWorks trailer before a Disney movie.

There were rumors that there would be something attached to Jupiter Ascending.

Back in October 2014, we got official confirmation from WB, related to the casting of DC super heroes and Green lantern was the only missing piece in WB's Justice League.

And that lead to many rumors, some saying we wouldn't be getting a Green lantern in Justice league movies till his solo movie in 2020 and others saying WB is still discussing over whom to use for the role, is it going to be Hal Jordan or John Stewart. Well i have some answers for you, so here it is !

First and foremost let me tell you that Zack Snyder, the guy who is over looking the creative development of DC Cinematic Universe has massive respect for source material and canon and thus he will definitely use a Green Lantern in the origin Justice League story and i guess they have found a guy to play the part !

Enter Dan Amboyer, a young and extremely talented theater and TV actor (just like Ray Fisher), This guy is officially in the cast of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and he's playing a "Drone Pilot" well this may sound like a stretch but listen to me.

Well some of you might say that he may be playing Steve Trevor, but if that's the case, why would WB hide his casting as "Drone Pilot" and in that sense i believe WB his hiding this casting news with a Drone Pilot tag, so as to keep it as a surprise till the right moment and maybe even to prevent an internet war over a failed Green lantern attempt or overcrowding a movie cliche. But does this mean Green lantern might appear in Batman vs Superman, well i don't think so because I think he will have a very minor cameo, where he might appear as one of the air force pilot with the name of Hal Jordan printed on his flex suit or someone calling him Hal or Jordan or even as captain Hal Jordan or something like that, just a brief and clever reference. And maybe he might have a dialogue or two, just to reflect the characteristic trait of Hal Jordan and to showcase his opinion on the events that will take place in Batman v Superman.

Ryan Reynolds was one of the few things Green Lantern got right. He didn't fail. It was the POS script he was given that was the problem.

I think "wasn't popular" was a poor choice of wording. But he definitely wasn't really well-known to the masses until Batman Begins.

Hal Jordan is so generic white-guy looking that almost any handsome actor could play the part.

Years ago I wanted a Green Lantern/Green Arrow moving starring John Cusack and Jeremy Piven, respectively. What a missed opportunity :(

Even though I knew Bale before Batman as a huge fan of Equilibrium and having seen Americna Psycho, I thought it was obvious what the writer meant like Brack said. It's hardly a "LMFAO" statement.
