If true, I'd be for Josh Brolin or Jon Hamm.

Josh Duhamel? Jude Law?

Personally, I'd be ok with Brolin, Urban, or Hamm.

I know there is no chance but I'd love to see Affleck do it, though him being taller than Cavill might not work.
Hamm would be great as well.

Just don't think I can imagine Jon Hamm playing a moody, serious guy with a secret life.

If Batman is going to be an older and bitter Batman then Brolin would be perfect. He's got the voice for it.

If Hamm can get in shape for the role, he'd be great.

He's been looking pudgy and old as fuck in the latest season of Mad Men, though.

I think Wes Bentley would be a decent choice for Batman/Bruce Wayne. But he'll just turn 35 this year. IMDB lists him at 5'11".

How many people, in actual numbers, have seen MAN OF STEEL? And then compare that to how many people watched "The Adventures of Superman" TV show, which was shown on TV across the globe for several decades and is now out on DVD. I don't know that anyone's done a proposed count of those viewers but how would it compare to the audience for any of the Superman movies?

Just curious.

Honestly Jon Hamm could pull it off I think and I'd love to see him take a shot at it. He could easily pull off Bruce, I just wonder how he'd be as Batman. I'm liking the idea that Batman is the more seasoned veteran type rather than a younger version.

I agree and it avoids having to do an origin in a movie that will already be fighting for time.

Meh that article is pointing out the obvious that a bunch of us have been saying since the idea for a Justice League movie was first tossed around. Warner is in a hurry with these projects to try and catch up to Marvel and it could end up biting them in the ass but they seem deadset on trying so whatever. Also what an awful layout for that website. Dark colored background plus dark colored font doesn't really mix.

That's not the way I see her website: I see black letters on a white background.

If they're looking for older. Jon Hamm would be good for Wayne. He hasn't been in awesome shape but he's got a look that could work for Bats. Urban could bring it for grizzled and gritty. He could do a Wayne too.

As much as I don't believe in how WB is doing all this for their Universe, I do like they're going for a veteran Bats for this film.

I think they're looking for older than Cavill, but no SO old they couldn't do 2 or 3 stand-alone movies with the character, so I even think someone like Hamm is too "old" for Warners. I imagine when Warners says "older" they mean mid-to-late 30s.
