I loved Dodgeball, and the movie was ridiculously self-aware so I can see a sequel working.

Sounds good to me, I loved Dodgeball.

I love the first one. I don't see how a sequel is needed.

Other than Casino Royale, I can't remember the last movie I saw that "needed" a sequel.

Suprised it took this long.

And this is a bad idea. I really liked the first one too.

Loved the first but this seems far too late to finally make a sequel. And, honestly, the first film doesn't even need a sequel. Another film with the same cast and crew would be better. Kind of like what War, Inc. was to Grosse Point Blank.

What if they drop the Dodgeball aspect and call it Average Joe's?

Will they still be playing Dodgeball or are they going to move on to Duck, Duck, Goose?

As long as they keep Lance Armstrong away I'll at least rent it...

I just hope Justin Long is available.

They should use Lance Armstrongs admission as a psychological blow to Vince Vaughn's character.

I'd prefer a scene where the roles are reversed and Vaughn is giving Armstrong the pep talk about not quitting and giving up your dreams, despite being banned from cycling. This could lead to Armstrong joining the team while he gets his life in order.

I can see this as a Revenge of Goodman tale.

As long as Missi Pyle is back, I'm in.

I wonder if Vince Vaughn will play a wacky, wise-cracking, care-free guy with everything to lose but in the end saves the day and gets the girl?

Sounds like Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn realized that their carrers aren't quite where they used to be and are going back to the well.

Hilarity ensues and so does a request: Fans are encouraged to pick a side by signing up via Omaze’s website (either omaze.com/globo or omaze.com/joes) for the chance to play dodgeball with Stiller himself. Proceeds will benefit the Stiller Foundation, which supports education initiatives for children around the world.
