Considering the way they butchered "Paradise City" in the trailers, I have ZERO confidence this movie will be any good at all.

The song will probably not be in the final film. They always use popular songs for trailers and throw in a remix. I thought the way they used it in both trailers was great.

Looks like shit, and every movie in the series has already been shit, so only fielding ones self to expect anything more. That trailer looked awful. I am happy to see this series for. The last 4 movies seem to have promised an end to the series, only for it to continue. Out of all video game franchises with potential for great movies this is high up there, but in the hands of Anderson it's just been wasted.

Oh, and why is it that so many of these movies shot in South Africa look the same? Cheap and tacky.

Stuckmann mentioned, in his scathing review, that one sequence basically copied Fury Road.

Yeah, he hated this movie. He still loves the video games, though.

I was very disappointed. I wasn't expecting high art, but Anderson has shown in the past he can shoot dynamic 3D, but this film was overly muddy and "processed-looking". Also, all of the fights were shot in annoying little cuts/edits that are usually used to disguise the stunt person but also "ghost" or strobe when you're watching in 3D.

I saw the first four films and even own them on Blu-ray but never saw the fifth one. I'll probably wait for this to come out on Blu-ray or something and watch them all. They aren't great or anything but kind of guilty pleasure movies for me.

Something about that guys face makes me want to punch him in it rather than watch his video. Maybe because he is a blue eyed ginger, but he looks super creepy. Is he someone important among the YouTube community?

I don't know if I'd call him important but he's probably one of the better movie reviewers on YouTube. I like him for the most part but at times he can get a bit grating and his thumbnails are generally pretty bad. Personally I like other reviewers a bit better such as The Flick Pick and Schmoes Know.

The Flick Pick yells and screams way too much.

I also watch What The Flick because they have several viewpoints that aren't always on the same page. There's four or five that rotate. One is Ben Mankiewicz, host of TCM and another is Matt Atchity editor-in-chief of Rotten Tomatoes.

If I let "reviewers" influence what movies I add to my collection, I wouldn't have nearly the videos that I have and enjoy. I'll add this to my collection because I like this Resident Evil series, it could've been a bit shorter than it turned out but I enjoy them just the same. I'm anxious to see how they end this.

The Flick Pick seems more like a regular guy who happens to review movies and is decent at doing so in my opinion. For me his over the top comedy that he uses works most of the time. I like Stuckmann but sometimes I feel like he takes himself a bit too seriously.
