Looks interesting. I was especially interested to see that Gerwig co-wrote the screenplay with Baumbach.

Ooooh. It's in black and white and stars a quirky, unattractive chick...must be better than anything Spielberg has ever done.

Loved the trailer both times I saw it, hope it comes soon.

By the way I'm 99% sure it was in color in the theater's trailer.

FWIW, I think Greta Gerwig is gorgeous. I recognize that I am a little weird on this count, however.

I liked the trailer. Gerwig is like an attractive version of Lena Dunham.

Re: Frances Ha (2013) D: Noah Baumbach S: Greta Gerwig

Baumbach has never really grabbed me as a filmmaker. I really wanted to like his work but I've been disappointed with everything I've seen from him.

Gerwig is like Kate Winslet's ugly sister. She's Danny DeVito to Winslet's Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I like her also. I'm not very good at the internet because I know I'm supposed to be only attracted to 10's but eh.

I think she's adorable.

Anyone seen the film yet. I always enjoy Baumbach's work.

Probably will never get a very wide release though.

Re: Frances Ha (2013) D: Noah Baumbach S: Greta Gerwig

I saw it. I found it a little boring. Gerwig was good. It does have a resemblance to "Girls".

It is the strangest thing... I always have a negative reaction when seeing something Baumbach directs, but I always revisit his films over and over. They eventually grow on me.

Saw it last week and really loved it. I've recommended it to a few people and they also liked it.

I like Gerwig. Like my buddy EddieMoney would say: "I would have unprotected sex with her."

Her personality is what would make say the same thing. Fuck it. Let's see what happens cuz I'm sure it'd be fun.

Baumbach has never attracted me with his films. I've yet to see one though. Maybe I'll start here.

Re: Frances Ha (2013) D: Noah Baumbach S: Greta Gerwig

I thought it was pretty annoying most of the way through, but it grew on me by the end (same as the last movie I saw with her in it, Damsels in Distress, but I ended up liking that one more than this).

That's the one that sold me.

As far as Frances Ha, it's getting a bigger release than I anticipated. The smallish, college town I live in has it soon.

No way. I would take Greta Gerwig over Kate Winslet. She seems like the type of down to earth girl that would rather hang out at a rock club and drink beer than go to a fancy restaurant and drink wine.

You forgot the word saggy from having a couple of kids and losing all that weight.
