Sent. Hopefully my lack of knowledge of the expanded universe and SW video games won't hurt me too much.

So far I have seen a couple of great uses of the slamdunks and some awful usage of slamdunks.

Disqualified!

By the way, Google is like 15 years old, not 9.

My knowledge is pretty much confined to the 6 movies and it shows in some of my answers.

Sterling Ben if you drop your answers in my box before noon eastern time I will accept your answers.

cruzness 01-29-13 07:34 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

A couple of things for you guys to discuss while I start going through the answers

1. On question one I had answers that simply named a movie. Should I let those answers stand on their own or should I consider accepting that answer to mean the first lightsaber battle to occur in said film or the last one.

2. I had mentioned that the acceptable extended universe answers were from novels or video games and not from comic books. How do you guys feel about answers from a D&D style Star Wars handbook? yay or nay

bootsy 01-29-13 07:51 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

1. I think naming the battle and movie is better
2. nay

Rockmjd23 01-29-13 09:37 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

1. You didnt say name the movie you said name the duel. Answering just the movie should not imply they meant a specific battle and should just be considered a shitty answer.
2. I don't care. All of the EU is garbage.

bunkaroo 01-29-13 09:38 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

1. Need to specify the battle - especially for the prequels this is important. Since the same character may duel in more than one movie, seemed reasonable to name both the battle and movie.
2. I don't see why the SW handbook would be outside the EU.

Mordred 01-29-13 09:51 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

Since it's a sheep question anyone who answered VI with no duel specified should be lumped together IMO.
I would think the Handbook could be lumped under novel, so I'd allow it.

Damfino 01-29-13 09:55 AM

Re: A Long Time Ago.... Star Wars Sheep

1. I think at least naming the characters should be required, otherwise players might not get the one they really wanted. Also, if you want the characters and movie, I think my answer is obvious, but I can certainly provide the movie as well if the penalty doesn't apply.

2. there are no wrong sheep answers, but for the reverse questions, I don't think I care because I know almost nothing about the EU.

Oh, and thanks for letting me in. I just now realized you closed the contest while I was working on my answers last night.
