^^ You do see a more satisfactory ending, IMO... problem is that nobody knows about it!!

Now comes out 2/28/14
Dex14, can you change the thread title? And maybe add Collet-Serra as Director
I'm totally game for this.

So, given that Julianne Moore is in this, is this supposed to be a prequel to that shitfest Chloe?
And was that Anson Mount in the trailer?

With the exception of Executive Decision I've never really enjoyed airplane thriller movies. But I'll see anything with Neeson kicking ass so I'm down.

My friend already saw this and thought it was a lot of fun:
It is fun to see how much credibility an actor with gravitas can bring to a really silly film. Liam Neeson has returned to the action/thriller realm once again to star in an airplane-hijacking film, with twists and turns that go way too far in terms of being plausible. It matters little though, as the film has way too much fun with embracing its ludicrous nature, which manages not to be too much of a fault, as Non-Stop finds a way to keep you guessing, while Neeson once again adds his serious presence to a film that may have once seemed beneath him. It is not a film that is trying to say anything; it just wants to entertain, with the semblance of some clever ideas, in the midst of its high-octane silliness.

This movie was pretty dull all the way around. Nothing much for Neeson to do in a cramped plane, so he runs around yelling at people most the time. The entire movie feels like it's painting itself into a corner with its plotting, and it does. Which makes the ending so silly and inane that it can't possibly live up to whatever it was trying to do in the first place.

Plan to see this Saturday.
Don't care if it's silly, implausible, or if people here think Neeson's action movies are lame. I always find him entertaining.

Implausibility is fine if it's done creatively. With "Non-stop" it just feels like an also-ran. Like you'd be better off watching "Passenger 57" again.

I saw this already at the Premiere. I like how audience react that he/she in the villain in every scene.

Gotta be honest, I want to see for these reasons in this order
1. Lady Mary is in it.
2. Liam Neeson

Those who liked Unknown will probably enjoy this one as well. Neeson is once again doing what he does best (showing us his detective skills and pummeling his enemies) but the wry humor and slick production design help to keep this from feeling too derivative. On the downside, the action scenes are bit too far and few between, and some of the talented cast (especially Dockery, Nyong'o and Roache) are utilized far too little in their roles.
3.5 out of 5 for me.

Seeing this in a few. Thankfully I didn't pay for it. My friend did. I'm very iffy on this.

Saw it. Thank goodness I used Movie Pass. I have to say, it's interesting to see Nyong'o in this when she's getting so many accolades. It's quite obvious she took this role before 12 Years was even released and she was just happy to find some work. Her role is very brief and background, but I am curious if new tv spots might be created if she wins the Oscar to play up her presence.
The movie itself is entertaining, but a lot of the stupidity bugged me.
Also, Julianne Moore still looks hot for her age, especially with the glasses.
