Maybe nobody is really likeable with the Caucasian cast but it was not bad.

Sissy (2022)
This year's 2nd horror-comedy revolving around the Tik Tok Generation is actually superior to Bodies Bodies Bodies in straddling the line between slasher movie and pitch black comedy. For one thing, this Australian flick gleefully doles out the gore, featuring a couple of extremely gruesome murders that should whet any gorehound's appetite, and it boasts an inventive, if predictable, storyline that is fueled by more than just repetitive jokes about how shallow and self-absorbed Gen-Zers are. Sure, Sissy doesn't break any new ground in the horror genre and you can see the ending coming from a mile away, but it's bolstered by an impressively winning lead performance from Aisha Dee, who gives Mia Goth's Pearl a run for her money in the emotional meltdown sweepstakes.

I Came By (2022)
This is a break-into-the-wrong-house thriller where the Earl of Grantham (aka Sir Hector Blake played by Hugh Bonneville) turns out to be one sick bastard. Metacritic and RT show that audience reactions have been so-so to downright poor, which I suspect has a lot to do with the lack of a traditional protagonist in this movie. Major studios have given audiences so many variations of the hero's quest over the years that people just won't warm to a story where they're not following the one Good Guy from the opening to the end credits.
I tip my hat to director Babak Anvari (of Under the Shadow fame) for doing something different and to the entire cast (especially Bonneville) for some top-notch work. Highly recommended for people who are tired of watching one retread after another.

Bros (2022)
Although a bit uneven, the film is most successful when its sharing the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, rather than being another Judd Apatow produced comedy.

Nothing to see here and you can skip this one
Jaime Alexander still has that goofy Blindspot hairdo.

Amazon Prime
I was thinking of buying it on Blu-ray but now probably not.
I remember the story with the Wooden Indian but not the other two
Wonder why they did have the Grim Reaper or the skeleton mascot for the sequel?

I own this
Beverly Hills Cop III
It was not LOL funny but maybe still better than Beverly Hills Cop II
Some of it was filmed at Great America in Santa Clara which is going to close in the next 10 years.

Paranormal Activity (2007) — Second time watching this, the movie that re-ignited the found footage craze that I absolutely hate and while this one has a couple creepy moments, I found this more dull than anything. At least Katie Featherston is cute. **¼/***** (Blu-ray)
Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) — More of the same as the first movie, found myself dozing off a couple of times. Only part I liked, in a funny sort of way, was the invisible demon pulling around the lead actress. **/***** (Blu-ray)

Starz
Maybe it would have been better with a better actor in the lead and director and less of the sentimental score they pound in your ears for every scene.
At first I thought this was a faith film.
Paul Wight or the Big Show from WWE was also in this.

The Last Temptation of Christ. I put off watching that movie for decades because I was intimidated. It turns out to be very watchable, although it moved at such a gentle pace that Mrs Danger thought sometimes dragged. We were still discussing the movie the next day, which is one mark of a very good movie.

Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) — A tad better than the first if only because at 84-minutes there's not as much filler and a couple creepy scenes. Still not great with forgettable characters but at least watchable, although it was a bridge too far with the HD-quality level of video for a camera from 1988. **½/***** (Blu-ray)

There was a rumor they had to work carefully around the cross scenes since Dafoe was gifted below the waist

Ben Stiller was in this too
I never heard of it or knew it existed

Maybe a little slow for most people but a good drama
I think anything that Haley Lu Richardson does is worth watching.
Owen Teague was also good and he is almost a dead ringer for George MacKay

Fall (2022) — Fall is a survival thriller that succeeds, at least for those of us with the fear of heights, to get an uneasy feeling with the aerial shots. The visual effects used to do those scenes were fairly well done and even though it is a movie with two (naïve) climbers being stuck on top of a tower, the film co-scripted and directed by Scott Mann still was quite entertaining. The performances from both Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner were well done (Jeffrey Dean Morgan only had a couple minutes of screen time and likely did this as a favor to Mann as the pair previously worked together on 2015’s Heist).
Fall isn’t a movie I’d watch again, not unlike many other of these survival thrillers (like 47 Meters Down, Shallows, 127 Hours), but it’s still well worth a watch especially on a Friday or Saturday night with nothing else that might catch your eye.
As a side, apparently this was shot for an R-rating with numerous f-bombs which were dubbed over once Lionsgate was distributing and in one scene the replacement of two f-bombs with “fricking” was pretty laughable. ***¾/***** (Blu-ray)
