2014
It seemed like a movie that would air on Lifetime
Maybe I saw it before but forgot.

Derailed (2005) — Could've been better but still an effective enough suspense-thriller. I remember seeing this in theaters back in 2005 and probably the bigger surprise was seeing Jennifer Aniston playing against type. This was also a time period where it seemed Clive Owen was everywhere. ***¼/***** (DVD)

The Scorpion King prequels/sequels are hilariou in a way because they keep having UFC fighters or wrestlers such as Randy Couture, Batista and Kemo Slice and his weird bald head

Showtime
Glad I did not blind buy this on Blu-ray or DVD.
Maybe it is not that bad and maybe a little more character development though that cheesy tall guy with the ponytail was a prick.
Probably they slashed the budget and could not get Elizabth Shue or a attractive actress to play Daniel's girlfriend so they got Robin Lively.

Showtime
Machine Gun Kelly or Colson Baker and Mod Sun wrote and directed this.
Maybe he should go back to his day job but he sucks at that too

What does Megan Fox see in that guy?

Pete Davidson in the main role maybe would have made it better.
Not a huge Whitney Cummings fan but she probably had the funniest scenes in the movie.

i watched Chiefs vs Chargers on prime and then this a couple of hours later.
Jeff Bezos should add me to his Xmas card list.
John Cho was great in this.
It was not bad and some good songs on the soundtrack but a twist ending kind of ruined it and made it silly or maybe it made the movie for some people?

I own this
I remember watching this in the General Cinema in 1990 before it closed.
This was as close as you got to a super hero comic type movie in 1990.
I like Neeson but this was not his best acting job though it was a fun movie.
I never bothered to see the direct to home video sequels.

X (2022) — Certainly a messed up horror-thriller, this had its moments but I'm not sure how much replay power it has. However the acting was fairly good, particularly Mia Goth and the premise itself was fun. ***½/***** (Blu-ray)

Phantom (2013) — overlooked submarine thriller. Put alongside Red October & Crimson Tide.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - This is the first time I've actually watched the whole thing from start to finish in one sitting. I've always just caught parts of it before, so I'd seen pretty much the whole thing, but never in one go before, and it was all a long time ago. In retrospect, this feels fairly tame compared to what has come since. The first murder scene is the most effective, with Tina writhing in mid-air and on the ceiling as she's slashed up. Johnny Depp's death scene has that huge fountain of blood, but it's just spewing up from the hole in his bed. The rest after that isn't all that gory. Still, the scenes with Freddy chasing after Nancy in her dreams are pretty effective at conveying that real-but-not-real feeling of dreams. Freddy himself is menacing enough, but not quite the wise-cracking, scenery-chewing villain that I guess he becomes in the sequels.

More than Frybread. A comic mockumentary about a statewide competition for the best Indian frybread. Since I know nothing about Native culture, I probably missed half the jokes. It was still pretty funny. (Amazon Prime)

Constantine (2005) — With the announcement that a Constantine sequel was in development, decided to give this another watch (probably last time was when it was released on DVD). While I'm really not that big into the supernatural horror genre and have only basic knowledge of the Hellblazer comic, I still found this one mildly entertaining and for 2004/05, the effects weren't too bad, with the hell sequences looking pretty dang interesting, hopefully gets more exploration in the sequel. And Reeves was decent in the lead. ***/***** (Blu-ray)
