Harold and Maude. Friends visited for movie day at our house. The person who chose it was the only one who had seen it before. Black humor mixed with hippie optimism, and we all loved it.

Boring and not really that exciting
I wish it had more scenes with Ethan Hawke

I own it.
I wonder why I waited almost 9 or 10 years to open it.
Amazing it did not receive a best picture nomination but the Full Monty did?
I like and I own Titanic too but maybe Boogie Nights is the greater artistic achievement and should have won the best picture Oscar in 1998.

A solid action movie all around. Good action, lots of blood, fantastic tits, glorious bush, everything and only a Rated R movie along with Bronson can bring. I truly enjoyed this one and it wasn't a sleeper, it kept pulling me in whenever I faced a distraction. Charles Bronson was such a damn bad ass in movies. I greatly enjoy the majority of his movies. RIP legend.

If you were expecting a horrible or mediocre movie you win a thousand bucks.
It looked like Famke Janssen had some work done to her a face. A shame if that is true.
i don't remember the last time Travolta was in a good movie.

Intrigued by a movie thread. Don't remember seeing this movie in my youthful years but seeing it now was quite enjoyable. Could not keep my eyes off Cynthia Rhodes.
Laughed my ass off a couple of times. Very outdated movie but fun to watch for nostalgia reasons. Pretty solid special effects and solid all around.

GoldenEye (1995) — Decided to give Brosnan's first outing yet another watch (on my birthday) and still holds up with great action and Brosnan's amazing charisma, reminding me again why he's my favorite Bond (and having Famke Jansen in there with killer thighs wasn't bad either). ****/***** (Blu-ray)

Thief (1981) - Michael Mann's feature film directorial debut--a thriller starring James Caan. I've been listening to back episodes of the Blank Check podcast and I wanted to start their miniseries on Mann's filmography, but I hadn't ever seen his first movie. And with Caan's recent death, it felt like a good time to give this a watch (and it's currently on Prime video). Good movie--heavy on style and character, light on the thrills. Beautiful cinematography and a nice electronic score by Tangerine Dream give this a dark, moody atmosphere. There are many recognizable actors (Willie Nelson, Jim Belushi) playing supporting roles and bit parts. Some before they would become much better known (Dennis Farina, William Petersen).
