The Movie Channel
Maybe this is like a Hallmark movie for senior citizens.
Probably one of the final roles for James Caan though he did not look that bad or you would suspect would be dying in the near future.

The Black Phone (2022) — Had some decently suspense-filled moments and Ethan Hawke was great but otherwise I found most of this pretty forgettable, yet still worth watching as a rental. ***¼/***** (Blu-ray)

Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Edition. (2022)
It runs about 14 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. There's a few new scenes and an entirely new opening sequence. If you didn't like this movie, you probably won't like the extended cut. Colin Trevorrow says this is his preferred version. For the most part, I think it's the same movie, but it does add some scene extensions that help some scenes breathe. But, it's really long.

Starz
A movie about mental illness and all the actors excelled in their roles
Stephania Owen is probably a actress that we will see more of.

Code Name Banshee (2022) — Some of the fight/gunplay scenes, early on especially, weren't bad but basically ruined thanks to bad CGI blood. The acting from both Jaime King and Antonio Banderas were wooden and the plot is pretty unremarkable. Think there was potential even as a generic action-thriller but as it is, not really worth even a cursory watch. **¼/***** (Blu-ray)

TCM - Won a couple of Oscars (Screenplay, Cinematography) but had never heard of it.

Pretty good Clint flick I'd never seen. Amy Adams was especially cute. 3/4

It was ok though probably a lot of people think it is great.
I remember Amber Midthunder as the Aubrey Plaza doppelganger in the Ice Road the Liam Neeson movie.

I thought I would love it with the great cast after a second viewing but it was just ok.

I thought it would be horrible or mediocre but it was not bad at all.
Kind of reminds me of 13 going on 30 and those kind of movies.

Maybe the first time I saw this in HD.
I always forget Cusack was in this movie

The Sands and the Stardust in Vegas don't exist anymore when they crashed into Vegas.

Changing Lanes (2002)
Jackson is great as Doyle, a recovering alcoholic trying to keep his wife from taking their sons and moving across the country. Affleck's character, the young Wall Street lawyer Gavin, isn't as well written but Affleck does what he can with the back-and-forth shifts from an essentially good person to an angry and vengeful man.
There are some great scenes that work in isolation (such as Sydney Pollack's speech about the origins of a charity he controls and the conversation Doyle has with his wife (Kim Staunton) when it looks as though he won't be able to keep his family from leaving), but those parts and the good acting aren't enough to paper over the gaps in plausibility. The events of the film take place over a single day and in the early 2000s before information was so much more accessible and portable on smartphones which are now ubiquitous. How each man is able to find out as much they do about the other and also travel to different places (the school of Doyle's kids, for example) are things you can't think too much about or the movie falls apart.
Changing Lanes is good because it tries to be more than a low-brow thriller and it has some good performances. Some of the writing, though, relies on the audience being forgiving towards logical gaps as well as an ending that doesn't feel entirely earned.
