The Seventh Seal (1959)
Love this film's themes.
It was fantastic getting to re-visit it again.

In the Realm of the Senses (1976)
Beautifully shot and anchored by an absolutely unnerving performance from Eiko Matsuda.

Showtime
This could be Sean Baker's debut flick.
I thought the Armenian Taxi Driver would be the most normal guy but he turned out to be a freak on another level

Still it was kind of fun and entertaing to watch and I think it was all filmed on a Iphone.

Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo (1977) — Kind of boring creature-attack movie that only has one thing going for it, though would be a big spoiler. This made-for-TV movie was watchable enough and has its moments but I found my mind wandering for most of this. **¾/***** (Blu-ray)

Yojimbo (1961)
This was the first Kurosawa film that I ever saw and I enjoy it just as much now as I did initially.

Black Widow (3D)...it really looked good. one of the better Marvel conversions. lots of depth, a few popouts and dimension. really nice, pleasantly surprised presentation and i even liked the movie better because of it. especially the IMAX scenes. those were especially great in 3D.

I assume this was one of Ford's best performances and probably a box office smash but it is kind of bland and boring though probably the only time Danny Glover played a villian.

Miami Connection (1987) — Hard to rate a movie like this. It's absolutely bizarre and yet hilarious. Terrible script, dialogue, acting, fight chorography, baffling random scenes. It has it all and then some. I can truly commend the star/director Y.K. Kim who seemed to be genuine, kind of endearing really. Oh, and those 80s songs written for the movie, *chef's kiss* ***/***** (4K Ultra HD)

Showtime
Maybe this could have been a premise for a bad Lifetime movie if it was not a comedy
First time I saw this since Dec 2017 and it still holds up though maybe it kind of slows down near the end.

My son has been on a kick to watch some "classics" this last summer before he heads off to college. We've already hit alot of the 80s highlights over the years so he's on a 90s-and-beyond schedule now. Last night we watched "Ocean's 11" and tonight it was "Die Hard with a Vengeance". It's been fun!

Witness is a great movie. Also, Danny Glover has played villains in other movies--Switchback and The Color Purple off the top of my head.

Terror Out of the Sky (1978) — As these sort of movies go, not half bad with some okay suspense and serviceable performances. This is my second made-for-TV creature (for the lack of a better word) killer following Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo. This one is not as slow going and although still not great, a fun enough time waster. **¾/***** (Blu-ray)

Vinegar Syndrome has treated this exploitation classic with care, releasing a dandy UHD box with a restored, uncut version - as well as the edited 'They Call Her One Eye' version and some nice supplemental content.

There was a thread on second chance movies and this still sucks after a second viewing even with Dorff, James Franco, Norman Reedus, and Matt Dillon in the cast.

Hulu
The ending WTF?
It was really strange in the final scene and not sure what they were trying to accomplish or the message they were trying to send and it was kind of ridiculous and what was the point of the movie?
Too bad this was one of Liottas final movies but not sure why he and Sophie Turner agreed to do this.
Meadow Williams who played the wife should be working in Lifetime movies. She can't act for shit.

Thief…Michael Mann’s first and it’s a doozy. Great performance by Caan. Great shots. And Tangerine Dream’s score was perfect. Finally a Mann baddie gets away!
