Another movie about a mass shooting which was weird.

Evan and Uma were both smoking hot in this along with Eva Amurri.

Oscar Isaac in 2007 playing a burnout junkie

It is no Deer Hunter or Full Metal Jacket

It was suppose to be in HD but the picture looked SD to me.

All the G dams were annoying, I can take the F Word but G Dam in every sentence got annoying.

The fucking scene for a "R" rated movie was pretty good.

Sony Movie Channel

Chris Brinker a producer on the Boondock Saints movies directed this. RIP.

Tom Berringer was slipping in and out of a Southern New Orleans accent.

I don't think it was a bad movie for a Tues night and aucker for anything with Dafoe in it.

Amy Smart was a smokesow in this

Ambulance (2022)

Although a remake of the 2005 Danish film Ambulancen, it owes quite a bit of its containing structure to Speed (1994).

Fairly entertaining, anchored by a hyper-masculine performance by Jake Gyllenhaal and expected Michael Bay-isms.

Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022)

I quite literally thought I had seen it all and then I walked into a screening of this film

Absolutely bonkers with a fantastic cast (Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu) and tons of heart.

Malignant (2021)

The last 58-minutes of this film are absolutely bat-shit crazy

The rest of the film is fairly forgettable.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

Not a particularly great Horror film but an entertaining and breezy 104-minute viewing.

Cape Fear (1962)

Absolutely brilliant film anchored by a unnerving performance from Robert Mitchum.

How would you compare it with the 1991 Scorsese remake?

Showtime

It had some laughs though not a lot of LOL moments but a good viewing for a Wed night and a message about accepting other races thrown in.

Harltey plays a douche

Netflix streaming

This was boring and wasted the talents of a talented cast with the exception of Daddario who is not in the same league as the other actors.

A movie about ordinary people

Makes you feel sad William Hurt has passed when he was great in this.

It was cool to see Bono and hear his sing as a Lion but the rest of the movie was meh mixed in with a lot of pop songs from 2016 to the present and some older songs that have been played to death on the radio.

HBO

It has terrible reviews at Rotten Tomatoes but I thought it was hilarious.

It's not as graphic as the 1991 remake but it doesn't need to be to get under your skin.

Robert Mitchum's performance as Max Cady is that damn good.

Long Weekend (1978)

One of the best Eco-Horror films ever committed to celluloid.

The Heroin Busters (1977) — Some good action here and there and photography alongside the charms of both Fabio Testi and David Hemmings has plenty of the cliches of the Italian crime-drama though not as many odd scenes that often perplexes me while watching these movies. Not great but more than watchable all things considered. ***/*****

Inherent Vice (2014)

While it isn't amongst my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson films, I'm glad I re-watched it as Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic as Doc Sportello.

Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)

Given how much I loved Director/Writer Navot Papushado's 2013 film, Big Bad Wolves, I was initially very excited about this film.

Even with its loaded cast (Gillian, Headey, Yeoh, Bassett, Gugino, Giamatti) and neon-coated visuals, it never really hits another gear.

It also surprisingly has more pacing issues than you'd expect for a film like this.

The Devil's Advocate. Keanu Reeves is a brilliant young lawyer who is recruited to a well-paying New York law firm that keeps getting him to push his ethical boundaries. The head of the firm (Al Pacino) is Satan. I see why lawyers love this movie. It was fun, but both Rosemary's Baby and The Firm were better.

The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

Sustained chaotic energy for 180-minutes of film.

Loved the cast.

But the Firm does not belong in that category unless Tom Cruise is viewed as a devil.

Amazon Prime 4K HDR

It was entertaining to see Tobey my favorite Spiderman back but don't get why this was the 6th highest grossing movie of all time?

It is not bad but not one of the all time great movies either.
