Road Trip (2000)
Love that movie. It's not stupid, it's not too smart, (but has just the right amount of Amy Smart), it's not over-the-top in its disgust factor. Even Tom Green isn't too over-the-top. Can't stand him much at all, so this is the best thing I've ever seen him do.
Followed it up with the entirely unrelated Deep Impact thanks to the thread here about it and Armageddon, and just finished Alien. First time seeing it on Blu-ray. The image was fantastic.

The Stone Killer
There's a reason why you don't often hear about this one when it comes to Bronson/Winner films (A complicated mess with hundreds of characters and hundreds of locations) On the plus side, there's a cool car/bike chase and a great dummy death (Followed by an awful one)

Wanderlust
Why did this bomb so hard? It's a total fucking trip of a movie, and a must for fans of The State. I love Wain's comedies. They're chock full of sex, sarcasm, and extremely unique characters. Plus, Aniston looked incredible.

Ultimate Avengers 2
I was suprised at how much I liked both of these movies. I'll give the edge to the first one since this installment feels so rushed.

Kiss Tomorow Goodbye (1950) - Fine gangster film with a very harsh edge. The death scene of a major character at the end is demented and very powerfully performed.
McVicar (1980) - True story about a daring prison escape and its aftermath. A very sober, documentary style helps it a lot but the film needed some more compelling actors in the major roles.

I'd been wanting to see The Avengers ever since I caught little snippets of it on the TV at the part-time job I had to take to make ends meet. The only Marvel superhero movie we hadn't seen recently was The Hulk, I'd just purchased/seen Thor and Captain America (Black Friday), we'd already seen the 2 Iron Man movies, so this would be like the grand finale for us.
Watched The Avengers night before last, definitely wasn't disappointed...
Tonight's movie night again...

Contraband
For a no-frills action/thriller, I mostly liked this. Requires some serious suspension of disbelief often, but the action moves quickly, and there are some tense (though wholly ridiculous) moments. I just wish Wahlberg had employed extreme prejudice against his foes.

The Third Man
Beautifully shot, but didn't care at all for any of the characters.
However, I loved the unintentionally funny spooky kid who kept saying "papa!" while scurrying after the fleeing Holly.

The White Buffalo
As a kid, this movie terrified and excited me. As an adult, it's a serviceable Bronson picture with some good leads and a giant animatronic buffalo that moves its legs like, well, an animatronic. Solid cinematography, though.
