Baby Driver (2017)
Rented the BD from Red Box last night. I liked it. It was different compared to most action movies I've seen. Cool mix of heist movie and car chases along with some dark comedy. Too bad Jon Bernthal had probably 10 minutes of screen time tops.
Kevin Spacey was really good in this. It's too bad this may be his last big screen role.
I think what really made this movie was the use of music during the car chases. Really great soundtrack.

The Trip to Spain (2017) — Good third entry that is just as good as the first two. Still wish the BBC series these were culled from would be released Stateside... 3.75/5

The French Lieutenant's Woman - I've avoided this one for years, thinking that it was going to be one of those boring English period dramas that are about as interesting as spreading mulch, but I really, really enjoyed it. I'm now on a quest to find a copy of the book and read it.

I watched Thor: Ragnarok today and I really enjoyed it. Best of the Thor movies so far and it's a top five Marvel movie in my opinion. 4.5/5

Super Dark Times - 4/5
After a tragic accident and a cover-up, two best friends drift apart only to be overcome by the guilt and paranoia of their actions. A nice atmospheric blend of Stand By Me, River's Edge, Bully & Mean Creek. One of the better films from 2017.

I watched American Wrestler: The Wizard today. Really good sports movie about an Iranian refugee that joins a wrestling team in America. It has a Karate Kid feel to it. It was much better than I was expecting. 3.5/5
