Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) — Not bad first entry but man is it tough to sit through at times, but I give it leeway setting up the world and characters. 3.5/5

The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017) — Not bad, not great. Had a few funny moments and some aspects reminded me of the violent humor, along with Reynolds of course, of Deadpool. Can't say there's anything all that memorable, however is fine as a two-hour time waster. Oh, and Gary Oldman's talents were utterly underutilized. 3.25/5

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) — Probably my least favorite of thefranchise, still entertaining enough but far too long at 2 hours and 40 minutes. 3.25/5
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) — Followed by my least favorite, this is one of my favorites, just an all around straight-forward, streamlined, story that features a great performance by Gary Oldman. Also neat seeing the three main kids growing up. 4.5/5

I watched Middle School: The Worst Years Of My Life today. It's a decent kids movie. Andy Daly is really good as the villain of the movie. It also has a twist that's not usually in this genre. 3/5

I also watched 1 Mile To You. I enjoyed it. Billy Crudup is really good as the track coach. My only real complaint is that I think Graham Rogers looks too old to be playing a high schooler. 3.25/5

The Crucifixion (2017) — No different than all the other sub par possession movies, worse though it was really dull. 1.5/5

I watched Murder on the Orient Express (2017 Branagh edition) today. I liked it, but I found Branagh's Poirot accent hard to comprehend and I thought the plot was a bit convoluted. 3.25/5

I watched Hanna today too. I really enjoyed it. The action scenes were really well shot and I really liked the frenetic paced music that played during them. 4/5

Phenomena (1985)
Got to see a 35mm Print of Phenomena! Even though it was the US Cut, it was still great seeing it projected on such a large screen.

I watched Batman vs. Robin this morning. I enjoyed it. It's probably my third favorite of the DC Animated Movies behind Justice League vs. Teen Titans and Teen Titans: Judas Contract. 3.5/5

Justice League Didn't think it was bad but wouldn't give it extremely high marks. The chemistry between the leads just isn't there like the Avengers. Not having a wise cracking Tony Stark makes a difference. Gal Gadot is so freaking hot, who cares if she talks funny? Some good action scenes but dragged a couple times between them. I had to get up and go to the restroom and wasn't worried because I didn't feel as though I was going to miss anything. Damn this 58 year old prostate.

A Bottle in the Gaza Sea - 2/5
An Israeli girl and a Palestinian boy become e-mail pen pals after the boy finds a letter in a bottle written by the girl who is curious about how the other side thinks. A well meaning, but naive approach to a complicated issue.

The Big Sick interesting rom-com/drama from Kumail Nanjiani. Based on his real life romance with his wife and his relationship with his family. Not a LOL comedy but very humorous since it revolves around a comedians life. Zoe Kazan plays the girlfriend and is very charming. Ray Romano is in a dramatic role. Finds a way to be enjoyable even though deals with dying, cheating and heartbreak.

I watched Ingrid Goes West today. It's a dark comedy about a woman that stalks famous Instagram personalities. Aubrey Plaza plays crazy quite well and gives a good performance in this. 3.25/5
