Face Off - Starz.

Holy cow...I think I have only seen this film in theaters when it was originally released, and this is only my second viewing, so it was a treat to see this gonzo masterpiece from John Woo. I actually like the film more than when I saw it in theaters, it has a great cast and some action set pieces that are far better than I remembered them to be, one of which is the prison break sequence. It is a heavy film with a capital H, so it may be quite some time before I see it again.

Pirates of The Caribbean 5. Once again, not one I would choose to pay for had I been home. My threshold goes way down when I'm traveling. It was pretty fair for the fourth sequel of a 50 year old amusement park ride. This series hasn't had much to offer after the first one.

Very intense and tough to watch at times cause you know bad shit is going to happen.



Even though one of Elvis' guys was a consultant on the film, there were numerous deviations from the account I had always read about. Took me out of the movie. Interesting take on a moment in history but like all these events, I think the event was interesting enough, they didn't need to embellish it.

A blind buy which was very good. Great they went with the R rating. Very good story instead of the gone to the well too many times Magneto storyline. Am getting a little overload of superhero movies but Wonder Woman looks so good I don't see myself quitting anytime soon.

Attended a 45th Anniversary Screening. It was fantastic to see this film in an actual theater. Had to send a text to my Dad before the Screening, as he named me after Director Francis Ford Coppola.
