Curse of Chucky...not a bad little reboot to the franchise. Stuck with tried and true horror/slasher tropes, but this character is always fun and this movie was no exception.

There Will Be Blood - 4.5/5
Daniel Day-Lewis deserved the best actor award for his performance. Paul Dano not getting a best-supporting nomination was a travesty.

The Choice (2016)
Sappy and very predictable Nicholas Sparks romance-drama, but enjoyable. Sparks' movies are a guilty pleasure for me. I know these movies are totally not the cup of tea of most here, so I don't expect anyone to have seen this or want to see it.
The one thing that I really liked about this was Teresa Palmer. She's beautiful and has a very "girl next door" quality. She doesn't look like a supermodel and has the qualities of a woman you would want to marry and have a family with.

Blood and Bone (2009)
Rented this off XBox Video last night. Very low budget, but some good fight scenes.
Eamonn Walker, who is currently on Chicago Fire, plays the big bad villain.

The Preppie Connection on Showtime with Thomas Mann (Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl) and based on a true story.
Johnny Handsome on Cinemax. One of those movies you think you saw before but forgot what happened and watch again.

I love the girl next door looks and she most definitely has them. Very attractive yet down to earth at the same time. She did great as an actioner in I Am Number Four and as the girl next door in Hacksaw Ridge. She had some leaked nudes that I loved. It wasn't just because I'm a perv and like those things, because I am and I do. It was because she was there without makeup, and yeah, she looked like someone you would take home to mom.

The Wailing - 4.5/5
A rural policeman investigates a series of murders being committed by people infected with a rare disease that makes them violent. As he digs deeper, he finds out that the source may be a foreigner who lives in the woods and practices the occult arts. Excellent well made horror film from South Korea. Right up there with some of the best horror films of the last 20 years such as Let the Rught One In and House of the Devil.

I went to the movie theater for the first time in 2017 today and I watched Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Overall, I liked it, but I thought that it was a sullen and depressing film. I was in a bit of a funk after watching it 3.5/5

Railroad Tigers (2017)
Jackie Chan's newest action movie. It's a WWII period movie. Playing in very limited release. Had to drive 15 miles to see it.
Fun movie with some humor.

That gives people like us hope if a guy like him can snag somebody like Teresa Palmer.
Back in 2013 nobody on this board was that impressed with her lol

Blackway on Showtime
It looked like a money grab for Anthony Hopkins. Ok movie for a Wednesday night but the ending don't know what to think of it.

I watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children tonight. I had read the book before watching the movie and I thought that the book was much better than the movie. They made some odd decisions in making the movie and changed quite a few things around. Overall, I liked the movie, but I thought the main character was very dull. 3/5
