The Hateful Eight Rented the BD this past week.
It was alright. Some interesting characters, but unless you're a hardcore Tarantino fan and must own all his movies, I don't think this has much replay value at all. It's super long at 168 minutes and I honestly couldn't see myself ever re-watching it.
Plus as far as value goes in it's extra, there is hardly anything on it except 2 fluff EPK features.

The Whip and the Body - 4.5/5
Sadomasochistic gothic ghost tale from the great Mario Bava about a nobleman's wicked son who's presence remains amongst his family even after his mysterious death. One of Bava's best and the visuals are to die for.

The Invitation
I should have ripped mine up. It's a great looking film, shot on 35mm and directed by Karyn Kusama, but it was such a bore to get to the pay off. Glad I watched it on VUDU instead of making a trip to the theater.

Victor Frankenstein...what a POS. i mean spit acting is one thing, but McAvoy must have drenched himself on every take. and the hunchback getting the girl? give me a fucking break. i think i liked Van Helsing better...gasp!

The Man from U.N.C.L.E...i guess i was expecting more Bondish type gadgets and whatnot. more espionage. this kinda fell flat (very little action), like the acting, sans Vikander. she's always fun.

^ did you disable folks quoting you in posts? I cannot respond directly.
I'll say that the film (Victor Frankenstein) looks great - the production design is phenomenal and the leads were cool. It was written by Max Landis and plays nothing like a film he would be involved in, which is refreshing.
I don't know what else to tell you. #differentstrokes

- Star Wars The Force Awakens (blu ray)
Only my second time viewing it and I enjoyed it as much as I did in theaters. It definitely has great replay value.
