Hunger Games Catching Fire - pretty decent and well realized for its source. The kid that plays Peeta is a really weak actor.

Dealin' With Idiots - 2.5/5
A comedian decides to make a film about the adults involved in his son's Little League team.
Decent comedy with some hilarious moments that reminded me a lot of Christopher Guest's films.

Kidnapped - 4/5
After moving into their new home, a dysfunctional wealthy family become the victims of a home invasion. An intense and disturbing Spanish thriller that will rattle your nerves.

The Babadook - 3/5
Psychological horror film about a grieving widow and her possibly autistic son who has an overactive imagination. Decent film, especially when compared to the mostly garbage horror films that are being made today.

Oculus - 1.5/5
A woman tries to prove that the incidents that led her brother to be institutionalized were caused by a haunted mirror. Weak and generic attempt at horror.

Dario Argento's Dracula - 1/5
I never thought that Argento could make a movie worse than The Mother of Tears, I was wrong. Even Thomas Kretschmann (who was good in The Stendhal Syndrome) as the Count can't save this one. As a fan of his work from the 70's & 80's it saddens me to see how far Argento has fallen. I'm going to have to watch Deep Red, Tenebre and Suspiria to make up for this disaster.

Highlander on HDNET Movies.
I saw Part 2 in the theater in 1991 but I never saw the original.
The Queen soundtrack and Sean Connery were cool.

Blue Ruin - 4/5
A homeless drifter plots revenge on the killer of his parents who is about to be released from prison. A well made slow burn southern neo-noir.

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread
The Inbetweeners 2 - 3/5 utterly crass, a tad revolting but still funny, too bad some of the script and jokes seemed a wee bit forced
Spy (Dolby Atmos) - 3/5 - did this movie really need to be two hours in duration?? still I thought it was quite entertaining ... the swearing and the put downs, while not as gutter based as the Inbetweeners movie were pretty funny. I laughed a little bit too loud at the 'c' word joke - I don't think the three women in front of me approved of my guffawing
Jurassic World (IMAX-Laser / 3D) - not as good as the first movie, but the 3D, the 'almost, but not quite entirely there' (7.1) soundmix and the 85 foot wide screen gave it that extra little push - to make it an event movie, the script (and the ending to me) had slight problems, but all in all, I dug it.
