I mean, if you own the store - then you set the rules and you don't have to wear the uniform. They could just force Elias to wear it since he's an employee.
BTW, if O'Halloran's hair were darker with streaks of grey and he grew a beard - he could pass for Ted Cruz.

Re: Clerks III (2022, D: Kevin Smith)
I know I shouldn't get my hopes too high considering how terrible much of Smith's output has been the last 15 years or so, but I've got a soft spot for the Clerks gang and having rewatched Clerks II not long ago, it's not terrible - it's awkward as heck like most of his work and terribly directed but there's a lot of heart to it and despite all the donkey nastiness and all the scene with Randall and Dante in the jail cell at the end almost covers up all the flaws for me. Anyway, I'll check it out and hope it's Chasing Amy level Smith and not Yoga Hosers Smith.

Shit, Kevin Smith is basically dead to me at this point but the Clerks nostalgia is getting me. It's almost making me forget how much I disliked Clerks II

Could be good. Could be so meta it collapses in on itself.

Looks fun. I like keeping it in the store and it'll be funny to revisit the original Clerks stuff (including the alternate ending).

I love Kevin Smith as a person and I adore his output from the 90s and 00s. I had been deeply disappointed by his stuff from the 10s, but I hold out hope that this will be a return to form for him. I want this movie to succeed and I will definitely see it in theaters when it's available.
Also, people can badmouth him as a filmmaker all they want, but he's a decent human being and I always wish him the best. He did this for my dad after his brain surgery 7 years ago and I will always be thankful:

Ha! Yeah, that looks good. I loved the reference to the Dante dies CLERKS ending.
I do believe Marilyn Ghigliotti (Veronica) is in this flick marking her return to the Askewniverse but didn't spy her in the trailer.
"What, and get sued by Disney?!

I watched the trailer for Jay and silent Bob the reboot again to make sure the trailer sucked. It did. I couldn’t remember if it had a good trailer. Because the movie was horrible. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that this trailer looks like a hell of a lot of fun, so I’m pretty optimistic.
