I was watching Perks of being a wallflower today and Emma Watson's fake American accent was just horrible. You could tell she was trying her hardest but the British accent kept coming in and out.

Maybe since it was her first film using one and she'll get better over time.

For what it's worth, supposedly Hanks patterned his accent after the kid who played young Forrest. The kid actually talked like that so Hanks just used the same accent for adult Forrest.

You know, I really like Tom Hardy but the more movies I see with him the more I'm convinced he just says his lines with a mouth full of marbles. Even his natural accent sounds like he's talking with his mouth full.

James Mason in Age of Consent grapples with an Austrailian accent at the beginning of the movie, but by the time the action switches to Austrailia about fifteen minutes in, wisely drops it for his usual distinctive mid-Atlantic delivery.

Did he even attempt an accent? I thought he just sounded like himself.
