He's directed more movies than either Lee Daniels or Steve McQueen. Yes he deals more with comedy, but the guy is an established Hollywood power player.

Still...yes, he's a little out of place.

Stiller has directed nothing Academy award worthy. I'm not a fan of Daniels but with Precious and assuming The Butler getting some recognition that's two more than anything Stiller has directed. He's got skins on the wall. Stiller was a lot more than a little out of place.

Why So Blu?

The Cable Guy is a great character study, though.
